Tea drinker, for sure! Coffee smells wonderful but is often too bitter for my taste. I like most kinds of tea, save for the overly smokey or roasted flavors. I usually drink green tea or earl gray, but also love herbal teas and chai tea. I never put milk in my tea and have started drinking green tea without sugar.
My three favorites, if I had to pick just three? Newman’s Own for green (it’s smooth and mild), and Stash’s Double Bergamot Earl Grey for black (amazing smell and deep citrus-y flavor). And for iced tea, I’ll brew up a whole pitcher of PG Tips black tea.
I really started drinking tea in college. I had no car and didn’t want to haul big bottles of juice or soda back from the grocery store. So tea it was! Now I enjoy the warmth and the little tiny ritual that comes with making a cup. I’ll even drink hot tea in the summer, heh!

The cougars are beautiful too, I hope people will post photos in lots of different lighting conditions.

Wow, what an effect! I can definitely understand why the broad, smooth surfaces of the pebbles show off this kind of paint better than textured fur and small scales. I’d say that’s one successful experiment!

Oh goodness, poor little things! I have to say I find the surprised expression on the kinglet’s face amusing, though 🙂
Drop me a line if they are still looking for a home, ruffian? Thanks!

December 31, 2015 at 1:04 am in reply to: Safari | Simple | Hoppy – GB Young Poad Show Off Thread! #938987This little cutie was waiting for me after coming home from holiday travels 🙂 He looks like a chipmunk at first glance, but has black bands coming down from the eyes, neck, and flanks. Anybody got a better guess as to what animal the pattern is from? He’s got a champagne pearly beak, sparkly dark gray eyes – and a goatee! 😀
That’s the one-and-only striped possum,
Thank you Melody, I would never have gotten that one. Also very cool to know his pattern is unique in the batch. Hooray for marsupials!

He’s cute but he’ll be up for trade – my #1s are the giraffes but I’m also looking for a thylacine or AWD to match my baby poads, or maybe a strawberry tiger. I’ll have an ad up soon, and some better pictures too. Thank you Melody, I’ve enjoyed seeing all of the pictures thus far!Forever seeking: Blackwatch the raffle Old Warrior, Jennifer Miller's pieces, and GB Baby unis!

Thanks to some great trades (thanks, guys!) I not only have a couple of adorable tadpoads, but ones to form families! Well… brother-from-a-different-mother kinds of families, but that still counts! 😀 They fit right in with my foxes.
Thank you Melody for these little cuties. It’s a good thing I have negative shelf space – I’d treat these guys like fun-size candy and get a whole bowlful if I could!
Wow, Zelda! That’s one awesome little fox!
Is she a grab bag or eBay?
She’s a grab bag, yup! 🙂

Great looking families!
It looks like my Young Uni would fit right in with the first XD
*jawdrops* I didn’t know there was a thylacine uni out there too, what a handsome fella! Thanks for sharing him. Recently-extinct-carnivorous-marsupial-lookalikes of the world unite! 😉

I don’t usually SQEEE, and I’m not usually excited about blue eyes, however there is a time for everything. 🙂
My newest tadpoad is an adorable tasmanian tiger with periwinkle blue eyes. The camera washes her eyes out to silver, but they are blue:
Somehow I missed this little cutie until now, great grab etruscan! That striped tuft is perfect. If she ever needs a new home, my tasmanian tiger bat-eared fox would love a friend, haha 🙂

I agree with Pam, and there’s a non-metallic green peeking out from under that silver at some points. They didn’t even bother to mask off the poor thing’s eyes! Shame.

Mmmmm hummus! I love the stuff. I’ve tried making it myself and am tinkering to find just the right recipe, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised to find that my little ‘bullet’ blender does a great job of making it. I have a NutriBullet and a small food processor, and the Nutribullet does a much better job of reducing the chickpeas down to a creamy smooth texture. I usually use it for making shakes to gulp down on the rush out the door, so I hadn’t expected it to be able to handle really thick mixes. Next I have to try making my own peanut butter with it…
