Here we go, try #3! This guy is really quite lovely, and I’m tempted to keep him, but there are still others that I like more. I will be putting him up for trade for a fox with more spots, or for possible sale.
He is seriously gorgeous though! His speckling is lovely 🙂
Gorgeous! Lovely shading!
Cute tiger ones! I wonder how many leopard ones were painted? I would still love to get one of those if anyone wants one of mine for trade or wants to sell one!
I didn’t keep count! I think I did about ten of each kind, or more, except the taz tigers and a couple other odd ones.
This first one is a African wild dog, but what are these other ones I got?
EDIT – I’ve had offers for the bird poad, so to help curb disappointment, sorry, I won’t be trading him!
Thanks to some great trades (thanks, guys!) I not only have a couple of adorable tadpoads, but ones to form families! Well… brother-from-a-different-mother kinds of families, but that still counts! 😀 They fit right in with my foxes.
Thank you Melody for these little cuties. It’s a good thing I have negative shelf space – I’d treat these guys like fun-size candy and get a whole bowlful if I could!
Lovely!
I used DecoArt’s Gray brush on/wipe off antiquing medium paint for my black and dark purple PYO wolf! I think it turnrd out good. I’ve got her in my gallery here.
November 16, 2015 at 1:07 am in reply to: 'Dragon's Lair: The Movie' by Don Bluth & Gary Goldman #937146I’ve seen that!
Truth be told, although I’m a massive Bluth fan (own signed animation cel & non-signed cels, etc), I think he and his team are being ridiculous with the Kickstarter. His studio isn’t some indie studio. He’s not a starving artist, and he wants thousands of dollars in exchange for a dinner or a model sheet?
Pics!
The dun horse and greener fantasy poads are mine, the bunny and other fantasy is my twin sis’s. We were ecstatic because I was desperately hoping for a tuxedo or black/white bunny for her, and horses are my fave animal so score!
These are so addictive! might get three more safaris this week, if my wheelchair’s service goes well. (Bedridden for 2 years)
Terrible puns are great 😀 Yeah, I was thinking it was a dun.
Tomorrow I’ll be taking proper photos of the GB poads I got for myself and my twin, but for now with my iPhone, Melody, is this poad a horse? O:
They’re certainly livery buttons. I wish I could help more, I used to collect antique buttons (black glass, Victorian brass, etc) but I stopped a long time ago and don’t have my antique books anymore.
Beautiful colour palette! 😀 Very nice
I’m not a big fan of hippocampus so I will pass on this one; sea dragons have been mentioned, which got my attention!
October 31, 2015 at 6:35 am in reply to: Brand suggestions for a good brush-on Clear Coat/Varnish? #936527I’ve only ever used spray on varnishes, to get an even layer and for the easiness too.
Pretty sure there should be comparably excellent brush on brands available!
I hope it can be repaired easily 🙁
Here are my guys! Sorry for the low lighting, I was working all day and I’m pooped. I have a long day tomorrow too, and I am going out of town for Sunday so I don’t know when I’ll be able to get better pics of these guys ><
Anyway, I really like them all! I am as usual open to trades for other Tadpoads, but I'm pretty impressed with these three right out of the box so it would have to be something pretty compelling for me to trade – in other words, please feel free to offer but don't be surprised if I say no! 🙂
Those three are so lovely! Great GBs.
Lovely Grabs Natasha! Here are mine; I couldn’t help but get a couple of each and I absolutely love all of mine! So happy with these guys!

Ahh, you got a tuxedo bunny!! Congrats!
HOCUS POCUS.
Beetlejuice, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Practical Magic, House on Haunted Hill, Thir17en Ghosts, others… Tons 😀
