Darn! I was so looking forward to painting a different style of dragon PYO
But it stains though, right? I know it is supposed to take on the colour of the paint you pair it with and the drying rate is incredibly slowed down, but itβll stain whatever it has been painted n.
Thank you so much for all the help! I had used the official PYO tutorial concerning the decoart stain, and I think weβre all correct. The stock Iβve got is way past itβs use by date
I had tried using it with DecoArtβs dazzling metallics Royal Ruby on bonedry Royal Ruby, and it was like painting it with another coat of royal ruby never mind the alarming factor that the βgelβ was like jelly. If I poked at it with the brush, it would try to βescapeβ and slide around the palette.
I am still waiting to hear back from the craft store but worse case scenario is that I could possibly try to get it ordered in from the one good local craft store here, but itβll cost me an arm & a leg because the owners like to think that because our location is 2 months from everywhere, they can jack up the price.
I havenβt tried ebay yet, but first I have contacted the craft store I bought it from to see if they can give me a newer one instead of one thatβs apparently been sitting in their warehouse for months
Aw, darn! My sister had bought some other paints from the same store a few weeks ago and they too were old.
Does Michaels ship internationally, or is there another craft store that can ship to Australia? Itβs virtually impossible to find a reputable Aussie craft store, and so far I havenβt found any other stores that carry any of DecoArtβs range
Thereβs no local craft stores I can visit so that is not an option. Thanks for your help!
I was thinking the same thing
Iβd love it if there were more PYO dragons available in different poses and sizes.
I vote yes!
Heβs simply gorgeous!
Iβve seen pretty good ones in the middle $50 range that is nearly as reputable as the higher end models
One difference that can add to the price tag is which version of the airbrush youβre buying. They have different number of triggers that controls the speed and volume of the paint used.

If so, down on the bottom bar of the Layers palette is a row of several tiny icons. One should be a padlock. Click it. Alternatively, double-click the layer itself and it should unlock.

My paints havenβt arrived yet, but I bought Americana and one Decoart Elegants colour for my ki-rin.
