December 4, 2014 at 5:56 am in reply to: Ebay set Global Shipping when I originally specified it OFF #922593
I’ll be very honest, I didn’t read through ALL the replies, so I apologize if this has been said, BUT!!!…..
Katayna…there is a way to set up your ebay so that you don’t pay shipping until the funds clear. When you go to pay for shipping, it should give you the option to “Pay now” or “Pay later…usually when the funds are available”. I have done that before too because, I feel ya! Especially when shipping Windstones and you have to pay $20+ out of your own pocket while waiting for funds to clear. IF you don’t see that option, call ebay and ask them. It’s there, I swear! I’ve used it many times. Once you complete 25 successful sales, the 26th sale-the funds are available immediately. I just went through that myself (again)
Also….I’m glad to hear some feedback about the GSP. I click that option because I’ve gotten burned by an international buyer to the tune of $250 while I was unemployed in the past…and I’m still resentful. The thought that ebay takes responsibility is great. But I didn’t realize what it is like for the buyers. I have 2 buyers on items right now that asked me NOT to use the GSP. According to the USPS website, tracking is now available on first class international packages, (that’s how I got burned in the past. “I never got it!” BS, yes you did!…moving on) so for anyone wanting to sell over seas, supposedly first class can now be tracked. I’ll find out first hand here soon when my auctions end!
WOW!! This one is gorgeous!! Then again my astronomy fascination makes me very biased hehe
No BEP fledgies. There was a limited production run of BEP LAP dragons though. I don’t know how many were made, but I have one.
I love the gothic unicorns too! I’m totally digging the silver horned unicorns that have been coming around lately in the store and on ebay…what about some silver horned gothic unicorns? Or better yet, what about some “Winter” (similar to Brandi’s “Winter” color with under tones of blue) gothic unicorns with silver horns? 😀
I am so freaking happy there are Violet Flame lap dragons! I have been dreaming of them since the fledgling made his debut years ago. I go and drool at the store picture and feel all giddy inside ^_^ Thank you Windstone!
November 24, 2014 at 5:00 am in reply to: El Unicorno Plateado Negro – The Silvery Black Unicorns #922197I’m delighted there are new black unicorns if only so I can FINALLY have a black grand to complete my “retired black” family. Personally though, I find the black unicorns VERY boring. I wish they had a different gem, a different eye color (blue) and a little interest in the way of leg markings or facial markings. I do LOVE the silver details though! I love the silver horns all of the unicorns have had recently. Nice change. I also wish the grand unicorn specifically was standing on…snow? Something white and shimmery with hints of blue. Maybe a seasonal winter special that he’s standing on snow? Change to earth in the spring? That’s just me though. “You can please some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time.” I won’t be buying any of the new blacks except for the Grand…when I get a job again -_-
Yes, you *are* a gem of a lady! Every time I’ve called and you’ve answered (which has been nearly every time) you’ve always helped me out and been very understanding when I needed a little more time to pay *shifty eyes* I’m sure I’ve given you a hard time throughout the years, so for putting up with me, you deserve a medal lol the people in customer service are the real face of the company, and Windstone has a great face, and a great person out there on the front lines! <3
WOWOWOW! I love Torch and your Ocelot flap cat. Beautiful! I especially love the purple interference on the flap kitty
BAH!!!! It came through, but I didn’t get an alert on my phone. I was in the grocery store anyway 🙁
I hope there will be lots of these in the future! I NEED one of both!
October 14, 2014 at 1:04 am in reply to: 18 foot reindeer in Southern California……new pic added! #920644LTL costs depend on freight class. For this-I don’t know off the top of my head. I do know that I was looking to get a carousel horse (a real one) shipped from California to Texas and SAIA, FedEx Freight and R&L all wanted at LEAST $900. What is this made of? Wood, aluminum, iron or other?
That’s an awesome story! I’ve never heard that before.
Don’t forget how you came up with the name Windstone Editions…I remember something about “Puddle Stone” and “Piddle Stone” as candidates for the company name 🙂
The moral of the story is: don’t give up! (I need to remember that today.)
Happy birthday Drag0n! I’m sorry to hear you’re laid up sick 🙁 Party hard afterwards!!!
Since this topic has gone off topic, I love that movie too! I first saw it at Walmart (of all places) playing on the display TVs there. I hunted an employee down to ask what movie it was and promptly went out to buy it and watch at home. I didn’t really understand the ending, but I love the feel of it. 🙂 Agreed, totally underrated.
October 13, 2014 at 4:12 am in reply to: 18 foot reindeer in Southern California……new pic added! #920607that is *AWESOME***!!! If I could get it to Texas, I’d defiantly want one! I’m sure it would cost more in freight than you’re selling it for. I’m interested to know who made it too. It is beautiful!
October 12, 2014 at 10:18 pm in reply to: Silver horned unicorns, need suggestions (unnoficial poll added) #920594PiIiIiIIiiiiinnnkkk?! >.< No love for snowy blue/ice blue unicorns?
Melody, mentioning white and pink, what about some albino unicorns? Like the albino kirins with red eyes? Although I think those would look better with gold horns :-
Can we see a test painted blue morpho unicorn? Maybe for ebay to see how well liked it is? 😀
