Now that I’m actually posting in the correct topic (der, I’m such a snerk!), I have a lame question(s). I don’t do MySpace or networking site thingys, so bare with me and my uninformed queries. What, exactly, is the point of Facebook? Is it a site to upload lots of photos and people come and comment on them, or to you, if you added them as a friend? If you’re a member of Facebook, you must have a profile, right? What happens if you don’t know many others that use FB- do you stand to look like a nerd with no friends? Basically, how do you get started, what is expected in terms of filling out the register info and what primarily, do people use Facebook for?
Thanks for the info in advance… I know… Ima dork! I grew up and we wrote letters in the post and took photos with a camera in which sharing required you to mail copies! 😈 😛 ::slinks back to the Dark Ages::

Okay, so I’ve been searching the net for info about the finale only to read that tonight was supposedly the last episode- ever. The actual final 2 episodes have been shelved with Ugly Betty now stepping into this time slot next week.
I despise when I love a show and it gets such shoddy treatment. Perhaps the show would have done better had it aired properly and not aired about every other, or every 2 weeks! And now they go through an entire season, and don’t even bother to give us a proper finale?! Screw ABC! If tonight’s show was indeed the last ever, it opened way more questions than it answered. Course, the reason for that could have been the assumption there would be another season and it would have made for a nice cliff hanger. However, there are supposed to be 2 other episodes past this one tonight- but it’s my understanding they are permanently shelved and not to be seen.
Maybe I can find them online somewhere but not counting on it. I’m just cheesed and spouting off because I did like the show very much and I don’t like to hang in the lurch like this. TV is not what it was when I was younger. This mid season finale everyone is doing is bogus. And seasons use to be 22+ episodes long and now you can fit at least 2 seasons worth into what use to be one season. Six or 12 episodes does not a season make. For whatever reasons, somehow I feel greed fits into this. That industry, seriously, they make enough money! Now wonder reality TV is taking over and running rampant!

I’m both disgusted and heartbroken at the same time. This just tears at my heart strings and I think if it were me, I might seriously curl up in the corner and never come out. Not kidding. The animals in my life are too important and I am *so* there on the prayer front with regard to this story. Praying for a Christmas miracle and that Baxter returns to his true home asap. *sigh*

Sorry you have to sell anything, ever, but I have to admit, I’m so *dang* jealous (envious may be a better word) of the Windstone ebay collection you’ve accumulated! You’ve got some nice pieces and while I’m happy for you (or anyone that is lucky enough to win even just one ebay piece from Windstone), I’d love to borrow your shoes and hang out in your house for a day so I can bask in the glow of Windstones!

^^^ Get right outta town?!?! 😮 Words… don’t have… can’t find… stumped. I know what you did… I know exactly what you did (and no, I’m not kissing her keister in hopes it’s me; I never win so I know it’s going to someone else… course I’ve never entered anything here so how could I win- … der). But I know what you did. When HE was giving out hearts that over flow, you got in that line twice, didntcha?! As you’re in good company with others in this forum, people like you make up for the trolls of the world that suck it dry. Sure, yeah, I’ll enter if this goes through because I do love this curl and I can never afford to get any ebay piece no matter what it is. And I’d be planning to share it (we’re in the same house at this time) with someone who is going through a tremendously bad time right now (nothing like a botched surgery).
Anyway, MG, that is really sweet of you and I hope your plan goes off well. Sooooooooo many people here are so deserving and I wish every single person who would enter, lots of luck. This time of year always brings out the best in people, but there are several people I’ve met/known in my life that have this kind of spirit all year long. You were one of the first to welcome me here, and it was always evident in which direction your heart flows. Now everyone knows (and I know it’s not like you’re doing it for notoriety – I know it’s goodness). Good on ya!

Thanks again and hope all goes well and hassle free with your sales! With regard to me, should I be lucky enough to win, you don’t have to hurry my piece out the door. I don’t need it by Xmas and I know you have lots of other hungry collectors that might need their pieces sooner than me. Oh yea! I think I remember reading that. Pity. I haven’t experienced it because the windows are tinted (keeps heat out) and the pieces aren’t in way of sun. But this is still valuable info to know. Thank you!
