I’ve not read EVERYTHING in this thread but am curious bc I just got a PM titled “Hello” from “Char” which requested how desperately she’s awaiting my response (I did simply ask if we know each other) and gave me a Yahoo email which I haven’t used. When clicking on her username here, it came up as No Results Found which says to me she doesn’t exist here. I’m new coming back here so IDK if I’m right. Anyone know about that username?
Just so everyone knows, when this happens (you get a PM from someone and when you go to see it or the user, “No Results Found” pops up), it means that an admin already got rid of the spam account, so all content (PMs, forum posts, etc) created by that spam account will give you an error such as “no results found”. I’m sorry if this is confusing to anyone! We try to get these accounts removed ASAP so that they don’t “get” anyone, but it has to be done manually. Sometimes we don’t know it’s happening until they spam you all. Eek!
My bad. I should have checked here first but I don’t think anything went wrong with my account because you guys were so fast to be warned & took it down (from anywhere, I don’t get notifications until hours after they’re sent, across apps etc). But all is good over my way thanks to you guys!

Thank you for such comforting words. I’m not overwhelmed NOW from members but I am overwhelmed by what I’m undertaking. Tedious; takes a while and strength some may take for granted. But I’m glad to know the majority of members are here to help should/when I need. That’s great teamwork attitude & I’m hoping it all works out great for anyone who comes in when I get going in the future. I think everyone, regardless of state & country, has enough on their plates.

I am sorry that you are not doing well PhoenixTears. Feel free to rant to us. We are good listeners. We even have a thread dedicated to rants major and minor called “Whine is Served” because everyone needs to rant now and then. I hope you improve beyond expectations.
Awe, thank you. Your sentiments are kind. I’m not going to rant on WE as it’s too much & I don’t have the strength. If I’d rant in Whine, it would be WE related (like it would have been squeaking) or desperate for a piece but my return to WE forum is relatively driven by one thing. But thanks for the opportunity, pointing me in a direction, should I need, & coming by to say hello!

I cleaned up a few spammers this morning, including “char”. As always, if you get a PM from someone you don’t know, and the message is confusing or seems “out of context”, just delete it and report it here for us. Spammers know that they will tend to get more clicks/replies if they direct message people instead of just making a new spam forum topic. Especially if people have it set up to email them when they get a PM, they might just click on links in the email. Use care!

Depending on the ebay pieces I *might* have the price you originally paid from when I helped maintain Ravnheart’s price database that sadly no longer exists.
Thank you for your supportive words & welcome😊 I don’t have but one eBay piece (not a special color, LE or test paint) & I don’t know if that’s still family spoken for (it’s the 1 piece truly up in the air) but if I do list it, considering what I know about it, I know what I’d like to ask.
I’d spent over 24 straight hours awake, researching this site (very helpful) to figure out exactly what I have, what group it falls in, confirms if those I questioned are in fact retired completely or retired in color at least, what’s out of stock/in stock, names etc which all helps me to come up with starting prices. There’s just a few related pieces that I PMed someone about bc I see online what one of them is going for & general search altogether cannot find these family pieces but who I PMed will, when she can, give me the low down there.
I don’t say what I have publicly bc I’m FAR from starting to list as there’s much to do before that (find boxes, dust/gussy them up if needed before photographing, then formatting pix to put up etc) & when I did say I was selling due to permanently failing health & mistakenly answered a question to pieces I have, I got dog piled with PMs staking claims when I’m nowhere near ready & lots is hard for me as is. That became overwhelming and I jumped back from the thought of even selling but on the other hand, know I must bc I don’t want to leave my own elderly mom with my medical bills.
BUT- thank you for the offer. It’s nice to see another familiar face, so to speak, that has great knowledge of WE pieces, especially original & old school pieces/colors. Thanks again!! Great to see you!🤗

You’re kidding?! I was selling a hoofer? All the hoofers I have right now won’t be sold and I never backed out of a deal! My memory right now is no longer the best but I’d never have thought that to be me; stopping something in the middle without any kind of resolution. Do you have ANY idea which hoofer that was supposed to be? I’m very curious and like I said, sooo not like me to leave anyone hanging. If so, I’m so very sorry that happened. Only a sudden out of control blast at my health conditions would cause that to happen (& it has in other areas of life but don’t recall this incident or any selling having hiccups). Wow. I’m so sorry 😖😔
No worries. I’m just glad to see you’re ok! It was ages ago. I want to say it was an ocelot baby, but honestly it’s totally possible I got my wires crossed and that baby was something else. I do know I bought from you in the past and everything went very smoothly! Welcome home!

Never had an ocelot scheme of anything; no special color hoofers ever to speak of. I’m just so curious now😂

Thank you for your well wishes. Hopefully my losses will be some of WE members great gains as well as grails. Been awake over 24 hours researching my pieces so I can do what’s best for me AND collecting members.

There is an ‘Email Me’ option ppl can use if they wish to request more photos. That way you receive an email directly and when you reply the requestor will receive an email back from you and you can attach your photos to it.

As someone who only has a computer at work, I use my phone for almost everything on here. It’s mostly ok, BUT I would suggest trying to crop your pics before loading them. Making them a nice smaller cropped square makes it less likely they will turn up sideways 😂
Good call! But the phone is too confusing & pics will be (or already have been) photographed by a professional camera, not a phone. Hence I’ll be doing it via a computer. I think it’ll be easier for me.
Do ppl selling still share multiple photos (including felt) of each item in a post? That’s going to take up a lot of memory here. That’s why I’m browsing through the Classifieds (& drooling knowing I see pieces I’d LOVE to have but can no longer even shoot for them & am here to sell, eventually) to see how ppl with multiple pieces show pix & word their ads. Lots of learning.
I definitely find the new pic system much clunkier than the old one. Honestly, most people try to show all angles, then just put a message saying to PM if more pics are needed. I usually try to get my front/back/sides pics up.
Great info, thanks for being so helpful. If they need more pix, it would go to PM but have to go to email since you can’t share pix in PMs, which I don’t know why. But either way, we’ll see what happens. I want to remain as thorough & flexible as I use to be!
