I just realized I forgot to state when I hid them! Yes, they are hidden right now (July 7th) while we offer them to the folks on the waitlist. When that is done, we will reveal them again. I apologize for the confusion.
When a New Grab Bag “pre-release” Wait List is put on our site I THINK we are now going to place it on the store page that says “Current Grab Bags”. There will be an emailed Newsletter/Announcement and will most likely also be a message on the home page as well. This is not happening any time real soon! We cannot put a waitlist for the new Grab Bag Resting Ponycorns until we know how many Melody will be making – and we know what the price will be.
For those waiting for this piece – the wait list was very long and its going to take quite a while to get through it. If you are wondering where you are on the list – you can email me with questions. susie@windstoneeditions.com
FYI For Lap Dragon enthusiasts: Most of the Lap Dragons have very long waitlists and are being restocked with Password Protected batches. We have already restocked a number of colors that way – which means that while they are being offered for sale we hide their pages and you don’t notice them. I don’t think many more are coming up soon. Please make sure that you have pressed the Join Waitlist button on any item that you are waiting for. You can manage your waitlists by logging in, going to “My Account” and looking under the “Shop” tab for the “Waitlists” tab.

I’m bumping this up for people who may not have seen it. Packages are still traveling that were sent out a week ago. …and Oregon is still having fun weather! Not like last Thursday, but cold slippery stuff falls out of the sky off and on! Our postal service is still struggling. Packages that we marked “Completed” on Monday Feb 27th did not leave the building until today, Feb 28th.
Melody has class photos of them. I don’t know where she posts those – possibly on her Melody Pena Facebook Page? I’ve lost track!
Wow! What a lot of wonderful frogs! I think the only one in all of these pictures that also resides at my house is the glowing pudgy frog light! And that’s saying something – a LOT of frogs reside at my house and upon my desk! Thank you for all of the froggyness!
I have just emailed those on the Pumpkin Spice Pebble Wolf waitlist who were unable to order one the first time I sent the password out that we have the remaining wolves ready for purchase!
Clay has been having a good look at things and may have found a glitch that could have unsubscribed people by accident. If you are in doubt, you can re-subscribe to the newsletter from the “subscribe” button at the bottom of pages. When you get through the whole process it will tell you you’ve been successfully subscribed, or it will tell you in little red letters that your email address is already subscribed. (Thank you Star Breeze for showing me this!). I did this myself and even though I know I’m subscribed with more than one email address, the banner that invites me to subscribe still shows all the time when I open our website. I think this is because our website doesn’t know I’m subscribed – only Mailchimp, our newsletter host, knows.

I’m so sorry – I really confused the issues! I wasn’t supposed to email EVERYONE on the waitlist last night, only the first 64 people on it so that they could purchase the first 64 of the Grab Bag Wolves. I accidentally emailed everyone. Those who have tried to order and found it “out of stock” – you will get another password email when we have additional wolves ready to ship.
Mary: Yes, the Emailed Announcements are supposed to be used to advise people that an item is on our Home Page where you can sign up for the Waitlist – but with the Wolves, we forgot to get the announcement out before the waitlist filled up and we had to close it. So proper form for us is to: Post Waitlist on our Home Page, Email Announcement that it is there and you can sign up, (Although I’m thinking – THIS could crash the site?! couldn’t it?), Then we close the waitlist when its full (we cannot make an infinite amount of things, especially grab bags), and when The Item is ready to ship we email a password to those on the waitlist so that they may place their order.
It is always a good idea to check the Home Page and the Community Forum on our website for announcements in case no email announcement has been sent. We did not do an email announcement of Paint Your Own Snerl ahead of adding him to the store. This could happen again.
