Just make it known that you’d like to have one visit you. That’s how one of them chose to visit me and how I found their next destination. 🙂
If anyone’s looking for the next destination for theirs: consider this as me making it known, I would love to have one come visit 🙂
Oh, I hope there’s more rounds of hosting 🙂
I’m a fan of Green & Black’s chocolate. It was an impulse buy at a store a few weeks ago, and it’s amazing. I really like trying different brands of expensive chocolate…’d rather buy one good bar and enjoy it over two weeks than buy three junk bars.
[EDIT] Lol, didn’t even realize this was right above me! Good to see there’s another G&B fan 😉
I have to say that I’m another lindt fan (oh man, those truffle ball things they sell…. *drool*) but I’ve been trying to get into more Fair Trade treats and thus my family has become a fan of Green & Black’s! (Pricier but more ethical and more of a treat treat because of the rarity of purchases.) I like their dark chocolate, particularly the one with mint in it. The chocolate is sharp and refreshing with nice fruity notes which I quite enjoy. I’m looking forwards to investigating more Fair Trade brands! 😀
That’s super cool. Bobcats really are fascinating. She looks nice and tall too!
Wowwee, that metallic siamese has got to be one of my favorite colors I have ever seen on a unicorn. He’s beautiful and just the right mix of natural x fantasy. *drools*
I just did a quick internet search out of curiosity and there’s a wealth of info available.
Although it does seem that feathers and bone cannot be cleaned by the same method.
These two pages were interesting:
This first one is about cleaning and preserving bones: http://cals.arizona.edu/pubs/natresources/az1144.pdf
This one’s about feathers: http://www.howtocleanstuff.net/how-to-clean-feathers/
I’ve heard of the borax method–it seems to be pretty standard. I freeze mine for a month or two to kill mites and stuff that may be on them too, if you’re worried about that. To avoid damaging them in the freezer I fold them in a few layers of tissue paper, then put that in a freezer bag with as little air as possible. I’ve had many of my display feathers for years, and no major damage from it.
Hope that helps 🙂
Oh, I really like that sky copper color a lot!

You might have faster success there, as it’s more specific market for Stones and Breyers than here, and it’s a fairly reputable site.
Thanks Starhorse! I guess I’m hoping to trade for Windstones here!
Ah! understandable 😉 Best of luck to you, you’ve got some beautiful pieces!

That red panda is adorable–love the bronze accenting on it too.

I’d love this too! though my vote would be for safari colors or natural.

I’d like to squeak for light yellow eyes in the new palomino pegasus maybe? I’ve seen real life palominos with golden eyes, and I think it’s gorgeous
