Curious to know:
A. The status on the sitting Qilin GB. Mostly just wondering if we’re approaching the “everything is painted stage” or “we’re still a few weeks out” stage
B. The new Brimstone color – have you guys decided how you’re releasing it yet? By waitlist via email, by waitlist via forum, by NO waitlist and just a drop in the shop? There’s just been a lot of variation lately and I’m not sure where to look anymore lol
Susie said around August 28th that the sitting qi-lins were still a ways out, because Melody was only about halfway done painting them.

Posted on the “Windstone Editions” Facebook page on August 31 – an update on the “yellow” dragon. He is a “Brimstone” dragon which will become a new store color.
There was a video … maybe it will work.
Interesting! Wasn’t there talk about “Atlantis” becoming a production color also at one point? Modified, I think.
Windstone put in the description for the later Atlantis pieces on eBay that it would be a production color, but I don’t think there have been any updates since then.

Yes, I have a couple black gold dragons, and their finish is very flat/matte, not shiny at all. It would make sense that BVP might be the same way.

I saw someone say once that what size pupils each individual piece will get is random. They just try to match them up so each eye in an individual piece is a similar size.

Is it just me or do the test paint pieces seem to be trending downward in price a bit (for the most part)?
Yes, I did notice there were some low-selling ones. Although with the last three going for $2k (Brimstone griffin being resold, but I’m still counting it), $1.5k, and $1.3k, maybe they’re trending back up. Or it just depends on the piece.
I was really surprised to see the Seaglass SK only go for $2.2k and the Brimstone one for only $3.2k, though. I thought they would have been more.

I have #82 available for trade. I’m only looking for #100 right now, but if that one turns out to be forever homed, I’ll be interested in 26 and 36. 🙂
