I vote for rainbow safari or Candycorn type fantasy GB baby unicorns. They are what re_hooked me on Melody’s art and I’d like to get more (all mine were bought later for big bucks…I no longer can afford them lol!)
Mainly though I want Melody to do what she is drawn to do.There’s only one left in stock…guess I won’t be getting a grab bag cougar :(( But congratulations to those who did. I look forward to the photos! Happy Grab Bag, everyone. 🙂
Personally, I hope Windstone sticks to the 1 per customer until after next Wednesday, when I’ll receive some money! Please, please, please save a fantasy cougar for me (I’m greedy, aren’t I J) )
Double checked my bank account…nope, not even 1/2 of what I’d need to get a cougar 🙁 . I doubt they’ll last til next week. But I will enjoy seeing everyone’s photos! Melody did a fantastic job, as usual.
Thanks, Melody!And let’s not forget that production pieces, while not OOAK, are reasonably priced and beautiful! Most of my collection is second hand production pieces and I love them dearly. I spend hours just looking at them 🙂
I am thrilled. I bought a plain and wanted a more natural looking one. Well to my surprise I received one of my favorites. I got the one in the store pic on the left!!! Or the 4th from the right, bottom row in Melody’s first blog group photo. ( Happy, Happy, Happy dance!!! ) So I guess you all know this one is going nowhere. 😉
WOW! Sounds familiar. I got a fancy today. He is in the Fanccy store photo, all the way on the right. He is also in the third blog photo, bottom row, fourth from the right. 😀
All three are lovely but I think I like Natasha’s the best so far. Mine is due tomorrow and I have noting scheduled so I can just wait for the mailperson. Fingers crossed that I love it!
I think one thread is fine. Did you have trouble with the site crashing? I was on at 5:18 pm PST when they were released the grab bags but then the site crashed before I could order anything. It was 7 pm before I connected again and all the fancy tanukis were in carts. However, I did manage to get a plain one and I was almost completely checked out and the site crashed again! I even called Windstone (and talked to Big John) to try to get my order completed. He couldn’t finish the order (at that point he said only two orders had logged in before the site crashed) over the phone so it was back to refreshing the page until 8 pm when I was finally able get back in. Needless to say, my cart was empty and I had to start from scratch.
However, I did manage to get my order in this time! I look forward to all the pictures. Thanks for starting this thread 🙂
Please keep the plains! I like them just as they are. I will even risk getting a fancy (no hardship there I’d just prefer plain) if you combine them into one batch. I’m not much into trading but I’d do it so I can get a chance of getting one of the beautiful “plain” ones.

No, no, NO on the snow leopard bat! I normally don’t post negative comments on artistic choices (different stokes for , etc) but that bat looks like he has some weird sickness. Best wishes to whoever gets him but….he gives me the creeps!
Mine came and I couldn’t be happier! No pictures, but he is in the second class photo, top row, second from the right. Everyone has said how much better these look in person and they are so right. The color is amazing, a deep rich dark golden brown with black stripes with just the perfect amount of white: a blaze down between his eyes, covering his muzzle and going down the front of his neck, just on the ruff of fur there; short white socks on his visible paws and a white tip to his tail. Beautiful – Melody has done it again!!
(in case you didn’t catch it, he is in his forever home unless someone would be absolutely heart-broken without him 🙂 )
