Kiera – your whole collection is fabulous! I really like seeing them in a group like that (isn’t a group of unicorns called a mystery?)
Poad eggs?? Don’t you know that poads are born live, and are cared for in community run nurseries where the duties are shared out amoung the whole clan? They cling to their mother’s and/or their father’s back and ride if they have to be moved….
Thank you, Lokie, for the link. Was able to look up pictures of Tabby Cat Specials (adorable!) as well as others I’ve wanted to see. I’ve bookmarked that site for cruising when things are slow at work
What a nice collection, Stephanie! A very pretty herd…you are so lucky!

And this is the baby unicorn my sister gave me for my birthday (Apr 21)
They are definitely siblings!
Hannah, you can use the photos
April 17, 2013 at 6:28 pm in reply to: 4/9/2013 Natural Grab Bag Baby Unicorn Batch Photo Thread #896130What about the idea of having some type of stick put into the bottom of the mold as it’s drying then sanded off after it’s painted and finished?
Yes that was my idea, and it seems to work, but we would then need a nice way to finish the hole left in the bottom. I was thinking of making little pewter inserts with our logo that would both plug the hole and serve as a stamp. I think that would look cool.
I think the pewter logo would look great.
Candycorn young unicorns would be great! However, with the limited number (perfectly understandable as it is) there is going to be one mad stampede!!!
Oh, well, its back to living on the website day and night….Yes, thank you for the tip, Flaming Dragon.
The pictures are great and the poads are adorable.
Maybe a new production line is too ambitious. I would love to see some Specials or Ebay pieces in this color scheme.
I think that painted pewter horns would go very well with fantasy and/or candycorn colors in the Young Unicorns. They may, in fact, look better than gold.
Most of these cleaning tips concern dragons. What about the unicorns? I recently got a young black unicorn and I’m not sure how to clean him (It looks like there is a buildup of oily dirt on him) Any tips? Or should I just go with the q-tips and clean water?
I’ll second that!!
Way to Go!
