Mine and my boyfriend’s wolves both arrived today! He is out of town for truck driving school so I am posting for both of us. His has a light face and blue eyes and mine is the solid brown brindle with gold eyes. One or both will be up for trade. I’ll have to stare at them a bit harder first! It’s really overcast today so the pics are a bit washed out. They are both a richer color than they appear here! 🙂
I would love a natural batch of the standing baby kirin so I might possibly have a chance to get a chestnut colored one to match my test paint family

Sorry! I wasn’t able to buy a baby kirin since I don’t get paid for a couple days so I splurged on momma uni instead! I have a weakness for the mother unicorn sculpt (this will make 9 test paint mommas in my herd). 😛

Ever since the update last week I’ve been having problems getting on the site. Half the time it works, the rest I get a maintenance notice. Last night when I tried to create a sales ad I got a gray window with a bunch of gibberish writing, top to bottom. When I backed out and tried again I got the undergoing maintenance message again. This was on my laptop and on my smart phone.
Hate to say it, the car will NOT be good as new if they simply replace the back end. The frame is all one piece–that damage will affect the car even after repair. Alignment issues, rust issues, rubbing of parts that shouldn’t. Stuff just won’t be…right. And your insurance company should go after the guy for his assets. That’s why car insurance policies have the un/under insured coverage.
It’s a very good thing that they make cars so well–yeah, the car might be a mess, but it’s better the car than you. I’m very glad that you and your daughter weren’t seriously hurt.
The owner of the repair shop said they have a spot welder, just like the ones they use in the factory when the car was built. I have State Farm and from what I’ve heard they are good about paying whatever it costs and not haggling over price and whether something really “needs” to be replaced. Because the truck missed my bumper it appears the frame didn’t sustain any damage so that is good news, at least.
Long time forum member, first time whine… Okay, so Tuesday night I was driving home after picking up my 15 year old daughter. We were at a red light behind another vehicle, the light turned green and they started to go, but there was an emergency vehicle coming from the opposite direction so they decided to stop. I started to go and then stopped as well, but the Dodge Ram coming up behind me didn’t see us stop and rammed right into the back of my 8 month old Corolla pushing me into the vehicle in front of me! He said he looked down for just a moment and never even applied his brakes. Due to the height of his truck he missed my bumper so the airbags didn’t deploy. Instead, the front of his truck was INSIDE my trunk! My daughter and I weren’t hurt, although my left thumb nail ripped off and my left forearm hurt pretty bad for a few days like I’d been lifting weights. My car was the only one really damaged. His truck was cosmetic and the car in front of me looked just fine (although both women in it left in ambulances, probably hoping for a nice insurance check). Well, I just found out this afternoon that the insurance I thought he had (GEICO) won’t pay anything because they say he was no longer a covered driver on the policy. According to what he told the police he had recently broken up with his girlfriend and had been removed from her policy. It appears that the only insurance he has is some kind of collateral insurance from the used car lot he bought the truck from. So, now MY insurance is going to have to cover the damages and I’LL have to pay a deductible! The repair shop guy said they’ll have to cut the back of my car off which of course I’m not happy about, although he said it’ll be good as new. :((
Here is the wolf I got. Since my boyfriend also got a black and white wolf and we like his best this lovely guy is up for trade for a different colored one. He has gold eyes. 🙂
Here’s my lovely little oddball. I was really worried that I’d end up with one that is very similar to the production reds, but I really got lucky! He does have a little scuff on the front side of his tail, but he is otherwise perfect! 🙂
I am very happy with my hoppy Poad! She will be staying with me. 🙂
My boyfriend surprised me by managing to catch a hippie Poad after I had given up. He added her to my order and checked out without telling me so I was totally excited to have gotten one afterall! Unfortunately she isn’t a headband or Celtic knot Poad which were my top faves. I do love her colors and her lavender eyes, but she is up for trade. Her pics are pretty dull. It was overcast and I took them in the car. Her colors are much brighter! 🙂
I live in Houston! I guess the reason it’s taking so long is because I opted for the cheapest shipping. |D Poor poad baby has to spend more time hip-hopping around in the mail because mama is cheap, lol.

Wow! I can’t believe how fast those arrived. Do you guys live in CA / WA / somewhere close by? My delivery tracking was estimating my poad won’t arrive in Texas till Thursday even though I ordered on the first day… /pouts so jealous!! Anyway, these look great, a couple of those were definitely ones I liked / am hoping for similar ones of. Can’t wait to see more as they come in!

If done properly it could be an awesome movie! It’s too bad Jonathan Frakes is kinda too old to play Xanatos. I just looked him up on IMDB and, yeah, he’s not looking quite so sexy anymore, lol. I have fond memories of watching Gargoyles on Disney with my kids every night after dinner and IF they make a live-action movie based on the series I’ll simply Have to take them to see it! 😀
