You can tell from the bottom that it is fake. Looks like a cheap resin from the dollar store to me. Also, I never heard of Windstone making a baby hatching turtle.
So the necklace wasn’t delivered at 3 with the other mail?
My mail person had a bad habit of just leaving me a notice that she’d missed me when she never even knocked on my door. I live in an apartment complex and all I can figure is that she doesn’t feel like walking that far with my package and everybody’s mail, too. Once, my tracking said a package was delivered but when I got home it was nowhere to be found. I was quite frantic as you can imagine! The next day I went to the post office to see if they had it and found they actually had 3 of my packages (including the supposedly delivered one), none of which I had received a notification for. At that point I decided it was time to break down and rent a postal box. Sometimes I wonder if it’s all a conspiracy to get more money out of us. :~
I agree with Falcolf and zloy. I think the tuxedo theme can be interpreted in plenty enough ways to go ahead and try a swap with that theme. If enough people are unhappy after it’s done then we can figure something out for the next one. Trial and error. 🙂
Those carousel animals are stunningly gorgeous! I’ve always loved carousels
Those youngs are just AMAZING!
Holy smokes! Radioactive is amazing! *drools*

Oh wow, Splash is amazing! Mine won’t be here till Monday. After seeing so many gorgeous one on here I can’t decide which type I’m hoping for! 😀
This is my favorite so far!
Trochee is here! I should have identified her name, but I had to look it up. It is a poetry term … “a metrical foot consisting of one long syllable followed by one short syllable or of one stressed syllable followed by one unstressed syllable (as in apple)” [thank you Merriam Webster].
She is spectacular! Her body color is a peachy gold shading to green, her mane and tail are copper with blue accents, her eyes and gems are red (yay), she has a star/blaze on her face, and there is a beautiful leaf pattern on her body. Poetry in paint!Hannah, you may use these photos if you want.
Oh no, I can’t believe this. I have been tracking my young through the USPS tracking number I received. And have been eagerly awaiting his arrival all day. He was out for delivery at 8:10 am this morning. The mailman just came – no package at 3:00 pm. So I ran and looked up his tracking status online. He was delivered at 2:38 pm but where!
I don’t even think these guys are insured, are they? On my, so disappointed ! I can’t believe it. What should I do? The post office is closed now I think.
This happened to me once and it turned out that the package was waiting for me at the post office a couple days later along with a couple others I hadn’t been notified about. That’s why I ended up getting a PO box.
I can host a flat fuzzy here in the Lone Star State if any of them need a last stop before heading home! 🙂
Hahahahaha, I love that song!!! 😛
I was going to squeak for the rest of the youngs to be painted in simpler colors, but as drag0nfeathers pointed out, the last “normal” babies cost just as much as the last fantasy batch so I doubt the youngs would cost much less than $360 if not the same. Much as I LOVE the grab bag unis I have to agree with rock-reader when she said we should ask for more production pieces if we want simpler designs. I for one would love to add the slate and silver grullas to my little herd and I’m sure I’m not the only collector missing those two youngs. Maybe a small batch of each color can be made for the store. 🙂
