I totally wouldn’t have realized it was time to set the clocks forward, except someone’s post on Facebook Saturday evening clued me in. I said to my husband, “Is this daylight savings weekend?!” He knew, but he’d forgotten. So yep, we ended up getting up on time.

Honestly, nowadays when I move, I don’t pack my dragons at all- I just carry them! The first time I ever moved, I only had two dragons and I (being pretty Windstone-ignorant) wrapped each one in a sweatshirt or something like that and packed them in boxes full of clothing. They each ended up with a couple/few very minor chips, which thankfully aren’t noticeable when on shelf display. Now I have more, and I prefer to just hold them during transport, which either takes several trips if I’m the only one holding or 1-2 trips with a van full of people each holding one or two dragons. 😀 lol!
Not that I do this often.But for people who want or have to pack ’em- or when ordering used- box loaning is a nice idea indeed! I’d think paying the shipping for an empty box is cheaper & easier than dealing with a broken Windstone.

I seem to differ from most people in that I’ve actually always rather liked the tags! I think they’re quite cool. I’ve never taken one off on purpose- only a few of my dragons have them, as a couple were from before the tag era I think, and a couple others were bought used. I don’t plan to ever be selling my dragons but I enjoy having the tags.
I don’t think I’d ever pay more money because of a piece having a tag, but it’s a plus in my book. It does seem not many people care for them, but I’ll bet there will be some- especially as more time goes by- who will value them and be willing to actually pay more.

Very nice! I particularly like your rainbow male dragon- I think that sculpt is great in that color, and I have one too. 🙂

Surprise raffle, eh? I’ll pass on entering, as I’m picky and don’t want to risk wasting my 1 allowed raffle win on something I don’t care for. I know I could gift it to another forum member but that’s kind of a hassle!

Okay, I’m gonna squeak for black & orange dragons! I think it’d be a great LP color and could perhaps be called Halloween! But I’ll call them SF Giants dragons, lol.
I’m particularly imagining the curled dragons and male dragons looking great in those colors. 😀 I’d buy a black & orange curlie in a heartbeat. But heck, they’d all look great.Pretty please!

I haven’t seen an opoponax in person, but it kind of looks to be somewhat orangy to me. Would any of you who have one say so?
I actually really like the idea of a black and orange. The color could be called Halloween. 😀 Maybe I should mention it in the squeak thread, ha. If I could get a black & orange dragon, I’d probably have to name it after a Giants player since I’m a fan of the San Francisco Giants and those are their colors. Hehe. Oh my goodness. What a wretched situation! My heart goes out to you and your BF. It won’t be much, but I’m going to make sure to contribute a little when I’m paid next (end of next week). I’ll try sharing this on Facebook, too, and you’ll be in my prayers.

Yes, the attainability of medical care in the US is extremely pathetic. Kinda makes me scared to be alive.
Edit: This fundraiser ends in less than 1 month? That’ll be rough raising $100,000 before then! I highly recommend printing and posting some flyers in public places asking people “donate any amount to help save this guy’s life” with the link on there, or something. I think there are a lot of people who’d care, but gotta get the word out there- big time!!
