^I haven’t participated in any yet either, since there haven’t been dragon grab bags before, but from what I’ve read it sounds like some batches of grab bags have sold out within minutes, while lately, they’ve lasted a little longer (several hours or a couple/few days). I’m betting these will go pretty quickly, with it being the first release of grab bag dragons.

I’m nervous about the GB dragons… I’d be heartbroken if I missed out- it would be my first GB since I don’t collect poads or unis, and I’ve so been looking forward to these!
But I might be at work when they come out (sometimes I work morning shifts, sometimes I work afternoon shifts) and I don’t have a cell phone for updates. Even if I’m at home, I’m not at the computer constantly. I’m worried I’ll miss it and that they’ll sell out quickly due to all the anticipation with this being the first GB dragons.
But it seems like an ordeal to try to arrange someone else to get one for me, plus if I Paypaled the money to someone else ahead of time that would remove the possibility of me snatching one myself if I was able at the time they became available…Maybe I should just decide to keep refraining from GBs… too stressful. :p

I love the golden emerald dragon, too! It looks beautiful and seems like such a “right” coloring for a dragon! It should definitely be considered for production.

I collect dragons in general, not just Windstones. Also:
Car models
Military stuff
Batman stuff
Video games & video game things/decor
Books
War movies & books
And items based on anything I like, such as Lord of the Rings or Star Wars…Most of those aren’t particularly extensive collections. I’m not really a hardcore collector of anything, I just acquire some things… :p

Count me as another one rooting for and praying for your doggie! I’m sure with such caring parents as you & your husband seem to be, she’ll do well!
A coworker of mine has a husky that also has no eyes, named Tempest, which is your screen name, so that’s interesting! I’ve met Tempest a couple of times and he is great. Of course I imagine your dog does kinda need to be babied at first, but just make sure she doesn’t become TOO sheltered! Blind dogs may startle more easily and not be as easily approachable by other people, but if she continues being taken places and sometimes being petted by people other than you & your husband she can remain quite a social dog! (If she is one! I don’t know what her lifestyle is like with you.)

Keep calling Animal Control or the Police whenever there is an issue and document to have a paper trail – take photos if needed or warranted. Especially if you and your family are not in the neighbor’s yard but the dog is aggressively going into your yard to attack. This is Unacceptable. This is very Serious and potentially Very Dangerous.
Yeah, this is all true and good advice. They need to keep their animals (including visiting animals) on their own property and keep it leashed and under control when it is anywhere else. They can’t be letting it escape the yard and going after people who are minding their own business on their own properties, or going by on the street. They are legally liable for any injuries resulting from failure to adhere to that. If their animal is regularly attacking other animals and people, then something could and should definitely be done about it. Make sure you let the authorities know- animal control or police or preferably both- each time something happens, whether it’s a serious injury or not, because their dog running loose and attacking people/animals isn’t okay and can be very dangerous. Get them to take a written statement and ask if some action can be taken. Even if the incidents are considered minor and the authorities are not wanting to do anything, if multiple incidents are occurring I’d think they’d need to do something.
Hopefully nothing serious will happen BUT if/when there are injuries you can take pictures of or show medical bills from, make sure you have those things as evidence. You can show the pics to the authorities to show that hey yes, this dog did bite & scratch me, so that hopefully they’ll listen. And with stuff like pics & medical bills you’ll kick their butt in court if it needs to go that far.

Ah, so orange was purposely the original color for emerald dragons’ eyes? When I joined up here on the forum and posted pics of my dragons, someone pointed out my orange-eyed emerald mother and told me the emeralds were all supposed to have red eyes and that an unknown number accidentally left the factory with the orange eyes.
Before that, I had no idea they were somewhat rare. She was my first Windstone I ever bought, back in the 90s at a store. I’m curious as to how much I’d get if I sold her, but it doesn’t matter since I won’t. She has a few little nicks/chips, too.Formerly had the Batman & Joker avatar!

Beautiful collection! I would love walking around your house and seeing Windstones everywhere! Mine are mostly all congregated together.
I particularly liked that you have that old warrior and mother on chests, like they’re guarding their treasure. :p
