I don’t think they’d be too My Little Pony-ish. Most of my MLPs as a kid were pretty brightly colored, not pastel!
I actually think they would look like a classy version of those cheap ceramic unicorns with a pearlescent glaze that were popular in the 80s/90s (or maybe before? I had several, but they might have been secondhand). 🙂

It’s been a couple of weeks (during which time I have closed/reopened my browser, restarted the entire laptop, updated Flash, etc. multiple times) and I’m still unable to select a Classified category for viewing. 🙁

Oh, the baby kirins look really good in Sanguine! Red+gold is not a combo I’m all that fond of, generally, but the way the color changes match up with the different areas of the kirin’s body (gold on back, red on scale, black on fur) it looks ‘natural’ and really nice!

Names: Eclipse, Night, Nocturne, Jet, Sable, October (possible nickname: “Toby”), Halloween, Beastie or Ghoulie (as in, “ghoulies and ghosties and long-leggedy beasties and things that go bump in the night” – it sounds like he qualifies on more than one front!) , Frightful, Boggart, Warlock, Spook.
