There are some nice Rainbow pieces on Ebay right now! Thought I’d mention it here just in case anyone’s looking for Rainbow dragons.

We’ve had “Jungle Flame,” so maybe “Jungle Rainbow”? 🙂 Or “Teal Flame.”
They also look like the brighter examples of prismatic/mineral springs; maybe “Rainbow Spring” after Rainbow Springs State Park. Or “Rainbow River” after the beautiful Cano Cristales in Columbia?
I’d love to see them with purple, gold, copper, or teal eyes.

What a great kirin family, laphon1! I especially love that silvery Koi mother. <3 The dark baby is amazing, too.

The dark version of peacock o lay exists in the adult ori and young. It was never painted in the sun.
I didn’t think so; I definitely don’t recall ever seeing one. Still interested in getting my hands on the other two, though!
(And maybe one day we’ll get Peacock and dark-Peacock Sitting Orientals… I’m keeping my fingers crossed, anyway!)

I’m revising my list, in light of my new curio cabinet!
1. Oriental dragon family in the dark-blue version of Peacock (Were Sun Orientals ever made in this color? If not, then I at least want the Ori and Baby Ori.)
2. Blue Morpho Female Griffin, to keep my Male company.
3. A GB Sitting Red Fox in a medium-dark (‘pewter’) grey color, to complete my monochrome fox flock.
4. Another Pebble Dragon in a blueish-greenish color scheme that looks good with my current ones; either Rising or Sitting would be fine. Maybe Melody will give us some new Production colors this year?
5. First piece of the year: Red Lynx Point Kitty Griffin! This was my first-ever attempt at painting a patterned cat, and it was tough! Even having two live-in references didn’t help much. 😛 I think he turned out pretty well for a first attempt, though, and hopefully I can apply what I learned on this one to the next tabby piece.

Those are all so cute! I’m especially in love with the little sitting griffin who has his eyes closed, though. Wish he could be turned into a Windstone sculpt! 🙂

This is a little different, but I would squeak for a gallery on the website containing all the grab bag class photos. It would be fun to look at and make a nice reference as well.

I have a grail I do doubt seriously I will ever acquire but the Smoldering Embers on a Hearth for me.😍😍 A girl has to have a dream right?“Lots” would be better than all this nothing I’m tempted by right now. 😛 After all, etruscan’s right that things tend to come in bunches, and I’d rather that several things show up at a time when I have money to spend, than that they all show up later when I might not!
I hope you fulfill your Smoldering Ember dreams some day. 🙂

Sadly, no changes on the grail acquisition front for me. 🙁 Nothing I’m seeking has shown up for sale or for trade in a long time, so I’m feeling a little frustrated. (Not least because it’s not just Windstone grails that are eluding me… Breyer grails are also thin on the ground, so I’ve got double the amount of “nothing’s changed” going on!)
Would it be tempting fate too greatly to just go out in the backyard at midnight and yell, “LET ME BUY STUFF!!!” at the top of my lungs? 😛
