I made this as a little Thank You gift for my friend.
Thank you both!:) I’ve been working on a small little something to accompany this dragon over the holiday weekend. Hopefully I can take a picture today or tomorrow depending on if touch-ups are needed.
A little commission piece I finished for a friend:
It has four different shades of pearly paint on it (3 pink and 1 white) but the camera doesn’t pick it up well at all.
This dragon is so tiny that a piece of heart glitter is big enough for it to hold.A person on ebay left me neutral feedback because I wouldn’t sell them a mint in box item for lower than the listed price (which was only $7 more than an open box item also for sale on ebay). I’ve requested that ebay the feedback be removed and blocked the buyer.
Did I mention how much I hate ebay?
Oh wow, I love that brightness of the lava at the front, I especially like that the color was added to the nostrils too!
Thank you! My goal was to make it seem like its inner body/core was so hot that the heat was bleeding through any weak points it could find.
Would PYO bookends be a possibility? maybe have a different creature for each bookend. Or a castle/small scenery?
You mean bookends other than the Winged Bookends? Windstone did produce those maybe 10 (?) years ago but I don’t think they were very popular. I’m not sure whether any more will be cast.

The eyes are a bit different from the normal ones. These are like a small hollow dome as opposed to the normal blob that the standard eyes are. Because of the additional height of the eyes one got stuck in the socket while I was putting it in as a test, so I ended up having no choice but to use them. While they look nice overall, there is one small issue: the dragon shouldn’t be looked at head-on.

I FINALLY finished him!
Took two years of mostly procrastination but I can now call this dragon done! This is Molten Metal.
It can’t be seen in any of the photos but he’s holding an orange rhinestone in his claw.
Ebay’s email system has given a sneak peek of the purple lightning Bantam dragon. Looks pretty nice.
Edit: and a Green Lightning. Missed it at first.
Since my holiday gift exchange swapee has gotten their gift I can post the little diorama I made for them here!
I made this to go with a little tiger ornament I had bought. The original intention was to make it 3 pieces so the box could be closed if it wasn’t used. …but I kind of went overboard with the foliage and had to make it all one piece to prevent any damage to the glued-on parts.
Mine has finally arrived and I love the Tiger ornament and the display box along with all bath stuff.
