Here they are!
I can’t join in, but really really love the standing Kirin! I’m going to make an ad about trading my GB standing fox or my GB tanuki for one!
/dies
I love that sculpt, I still want a cute male and female to help supervise all these babies, but those young’uns are darling! Any idea on an ETA? I feel guilty if I check my phone constantly at work =/
Any stragglers that failed to make it into the store in the first batch? I totally missed em!
Woot WTG! 🙂
My family and I have also ‘collected’ a family of kitties. Mamma gave birth last year to four (!) females. Those four now hang out in our backyard and come inside for petting and loving before I dish out the canned food. All except one, she doesn’t like being touched, but will still get close. I’m trying to figure out how to afford spaying for four females before we end up with a whole lot more!
Get with your local SPCA, your local animal shelter, any cat rescue or feral group. With a feral and/or rescue group typically you trap, drop the cat off at an agreed upon point VERY early in the morning and a few lovely volunteers will drive (generally in their own cars, they are wonderful people!) dozens of terrified, yowling cats to the spay and neuter clinic. You pick them up at night. Get them fixed as ferals, not pets, you are looking at 30 to 50 dollars a cat and you usually get a rabies shot too. It eats up one weekend, it is tiring, you worry about the cats, but then you are done and safe forever after and everyone is happier, healthier, and your neighbors won’t be after your blood for populating the neighborhood with kitties and creating an unnaturally large population by providing an unlimited food source.
Not to be all gloom and doom, but if you don’t do it now, the problem will multiply…literally.
Well, if we are counting living things, I have a ton of fixed ferals I err collect. I’m trying to “collect” two more tonight, but I’ve had two false hits in the cages already, and a spooked and yowling cat scares away the targets. You’d think cats who already gone for “the ride” and come back spayed or neutered would be smart enough to stay away from those humane traps, but apparently not! Annoying when my SPCA requires appointments for the spay and neuter clinic and I never know when I’ll get an unfixed cat. Love the ear “tipping” though, looking at the cat’s profile even at a distance shows you if you’ve got unfixed kitties in the mix. Always scared I’ll “collect” a raccoon instead :O
books, anime, manga. And between those and Windstones, I’m running out of shelves!
I was certain I didn’t need one of these guys, but the flow of AMAZING pictures showcasing all their color interchange is making my mouth water. I was convinced my perfect and lovely gb snow leopard was all the cougar pebble I needed, but wow, my resolve is a wavering. If another sculpt is coming out in these colors, like a dragon, I can wait, but …wow again, I NEED an example of these color shifts in my collection /whine!
Thank you everyone for playing, this is going to be a whole lot of fun. All Bardic College classes for the year 2016 are full! But remember, we still might all get the chance to help out a fellow Bard at any month.
I’m not sure where all this, as in other webpages and social media platforms, is taking place, but I saw the libel thing and I have to speak up. Know your rights, talking trash about anyone online, while immature and hurtful, is not libel, even in regards to public figures, supposed public figures, and their families. Well, what do ya know! Can it really be true?
This month’s raffle prize is scaled, winged, and BLUE!January 28, 2016 at 3:07 am in reply to: Pics from the Windstone Factory and Corvallis (Link fixed) #940732Wowzers! Those autumn leaf mommas are amazing. And the different egg colors, yes, yes, and more yes! Dragons are magical, and hatching baby dragons should have magical color shifting eggs. Thank you for sharing!
Gad, you guys…
now I don’t know what to have for a prize.I think that Lupus should have the wish of her heart,
If you have a blue dragon on the “seconds” cart. 🙂Well, yes, that sounds just fine by me. But Melody, you can’t let our heavenly poetic charm spin your head. This is the new normal. We will serenade you EVERY month as was your decree 🙂
Ah,too cute! I’d much rather have one of those guys watching me from the storm drain than the meanie raccoon who lives outside my building. He peeks up whenever I go by to hiss at me, totally freaky!
I paid a forum member for some Windstones. It’s been over a month. I’ve been patient because she’s had a number of problems lately. I don’t want to sound rude or naggy, but I’m reaching my limit. What’s the best way of handling this? (She has a good rating on the feedback list.)
You are not rude, that seller sounds rude. Windstones are expensive, so chances are it was a good chunk of money. When you are dealing with larger sums, even if it’s everyday for you, it is common courtesy to be as professional and upfront as possible. If someone was paid and couldn’t deliver, they should have refunded ASAP or communicated the new timetable for you to give your ya or nay. If it was a crisis and no timetable known, the obvious is to refund and hope to reconnect for the transaction or a similar one at a later date. I think you are insanely patient for waiting a month.
I guess I lead a quiet, dull life. What sort of something happens that you can’t deliver a package in a whole month? If your legs get chopped off, there are always buses and para-transit.
