Wow you guys are on a roll with the crack :bigsmile: LP kirin babies, shiny special unicorn babies, now copper patina oriental dragon babies! I’m loving it but my bank account is not :p
I’ve never ordered the two limit of grab bags before, for these, I did! The colors just look amazing, I can’t wait to see my little fantasy colored unicorn babies!
…now if only we could get some grab bag little dragons 😀she’s amazing! red glitter? WOOT!
I hope we see more of that lava color; very pretty! Is the red paint behaving better or is it just not an issue when there aren’t huge quantities of it?out of curiosity I asked the buyer a few questions: if he/she knew if it was a repaint, if the windstone logo was on the felted bottom, and about the eye color.
“The dragon’s eyes are the same color as the rest of the dragon. There is no Windstone logo on the bottom, it is also the same color as the rest of the dragon. This item was given to me so I do not know if it is a repaint.”
So yeah, still a mystery.
This is interesting, just bringing it up incase it is a problem. At first I thought it was a repaint…but look at the eyes! Maybe it was molded off a real male dragon then painted. Or because the eye socket area is messed up, maybe someone got the original eyes out and put in those creepy black ones.

It is an amazing color scheme, so glad to see it on dragons even if they are dragons I can’t afford =P But LP barn swallow dragons would be so awesome. The bright colors are breathtaking.
Hmmm… I think restocking some of the old, sold out bright colors might be what I’ll do. The list is getting pretty long!

oh my, that turkey griffin that just showed up on ebay is AMAZING. The bright colors are wonderful, espcially the copper! I’m not even a griffin collector but he is seriously drool-worthy.
Good thing I didn’t go looking for the one in Vista too then, I was getting really disappointed with as many misfires as I found in S. CA, only came back from vacation with one dragon /sigh. And my fav LA store sold the piece I was going to pick up the day beforehand =P

Heaven on Earth Gifts in Escondido does not carry Windstones and does not plan to start carry them again according to their ordering person. They have another nearby store that also does not carry Windstones
Controversial Bookstore in San Diego does not carry windstones anymore
Lady of the Lake in San Diego only has the Maya hill figures, but the other stores (Temecula) have others (including a sun bleached rf male) because the San Diego Lady of the Lake is right across the street from the Controversial bookstore, who had windstones first back in the 90s, so this shop doesn’t sell them. When I checked out the controversial bookstore, I went back to Lady of the Lake and let them know that they no longer sell them as well, so maybe all Lady of the Lake locations will carry again soon
I miss red fire.
I like the reds alot, but I can understand discontinuing them because of the trouble with the red paint. I need to grill people over the phone before I go pick up a dragon cause it seems 50% of the time there is serious fading of the paint. I originally traveled 30miles north of my vacation place to buy a rf male today, but when I got there, he was mostly orange…I asked if he had sat in the window of the store and everyone swore he’d never seen direct sunlight..I should of snapped a pic on my phone, he was red and gold in some places, but mostly he was almost as orange as cheddar cheese.
But the female looked lovely and flawless, and then I saw the red eyes and ooooohhhhhed over her enought that I forgot I was saving up for lp kirins!
