Lol, I didn’t realize the direction this post was going. I just did a “Ask Melody” on whether the Coiled Mother was going to be released in a new color 😳
OK, my first “Ask Melody” question, lol, please by kind. And sorry if it has been asked before.
Have you thought about releasing the Coiled Mother Dragon in a new color? I think the sculpt is beautiful and graceful, but, unfortunately, it is a little out of my price range on Ebay. I know you said you are trying to reduce the amount of things in production, so I just didn’t know if maybe the male might disappear and the mother reappear?
She has been going for 200+ on Ebay lately. Although they will probably go down in price like the Gryphons did, maybe this trend can convince Melody there is a market for them and she should re-release the sculpt?
She is a lovely sculpt. I wonder how she would look in black/gold?
I want them to release the female coiled dragon in a new color. I can’t afford what she is going for on Ebay in the retired colors but I think her form is so much more beautiful and graceful than the male coiled. I definitely want one some day although I’m sure she wouldn’t look good in Hybrid so I’ll have to hope a new color will come out that will compliment her sculpt.

I read the auction like three times thinking the item for sale was the picture which supposedly was the “home” to her Windstone dragons. Now it is an item we haven’t even seen yet and isn’t pictured in the auction!
I really hope she is daft and not trying to scam people out of there money 😡

DecoArt Staining Antiquing Medium is a clear gel that you mix with whatever acrylic color you want to make an antique in that color. You can use a little and mix with equal parts color so a bottle can be used for multiply colors and projects. I know you can get it for about .99 at a craft store. Not sure if they have it where you are.

I’m not super excited about any particular name but aquamarine is kind of nice. Maybe a name will grow on me.
Missing is Aurora and there was mention of Empphire.

I aggree. No flaws or defects except manufacturing ones is what I would consider mint.

I think my favorite piece in my entire collection of figures and statues has to be McFarland’s Mandarin Spawn from series 14 (don’t tell my Windstones). The original, small red version. When my little sister was learning how to knit, she even knitted him a cape to keep him warm (which he is proudly displayed it).
Unfortunately, the McFarland dragons aren’t to my liking.
