Yep, being there at the right time and the right place. Happen to see them myself and snagged one. Was pretty early because there were 7 when I saw them (eye open). Sometimes I get lucky! 😀
All I have to say is A**HOLES, all of them! 👿 Just pisses me when employers treat their employees like crap! It’s like they kiss the a**es that poo on them and kick the ones who are truly worth their weight in gold–what’s up with that?! I hope you win and I hope you win big time–and I hope the jerks who employed you get what’s coming to them. Like spitting in the wind, you can’t keep screwing people over and then go peacefully about your own life–it’ll come back at ya sooner or later! 😡 👿 :negative:
It seems to me to get items like this that are in limited numbers you have to be at the right place at the right time. I was on the forum and on my computer at the time the keepers were in the store. When I did look, they were already sold out! I’m sitting here with this dumb-s*** look on my face wondering how did I let that happen 😈 🙄
This has been a crappy week for me and the next doesn’t look any better. Was a bit put out at my coworker when I came home (she has a big stupid mouth and says things she really shouldn’t 😡 ) so I was already fuming 👿 ! Just wasn’t my day or my week. Camping out by the computer isn’t for me–it doesn’t work for me anyway. So one day a keeper will come my way like all the other things I keep missing. Life goes on and I don’t want to get a headache over all this or get all stressed out. I am surrounded by stupid people who do that job quite well thank you! 😛
So all you who keep missing the boat–you have plenty of company! 😈 Someone pass the smores please!
What lowlifes! If your finance agreed to the $300 less, why put this question to you at all? They knew the amount. Too bad you didn’t guess $400 and see what they’d do! And now the new downstairs neighbors with the incense? Seem like your health is being adversely affected by it. From the sounds of it you’re right, management probably could care less!
I don’t know how things work in your state, I’m not a big legal buff but it seems that if your health is at risk and management knows about it but refuses to do anything then you should be able to vacant without having to pay fees for breaking the lease. My guess here. Get a doctor’s letter confirming that you have severe adverse reactions to things like this to back up your claim.
Unfortunately, I have the feeling that this management could care less–was underhanded about how they got you to sign the lease at a slightly higher amount than what was offered to your finance and tie you up for a year! Didn’t your finance tell you how low the amount was? Seems like there is a miscommunication going on here!
So let management know that you have severe allergic reactions to the large amounts of incense being burned–maybe this was some sort of purification rite before they moved in and won’t happen again. But let them know that if it continues that due to health reasons, you won’t be able to stay there. The ball is then in their court. Also, document everything thing that goes on here–dates, times, what took place etc. If you have to go to court, you’ll be ready.
Hope all works out for you–it’s hell being trapped in a place that reeks havoc on your health!

Just got my eye shut orange flap–just a few moments ago. She is a cutie–I think mine would be described as more spotty but then it looks a little stripey. If you look at the pictures in the store, mine looks more like the one on the left. It’s been a hard week and this cheered me up a bit. 😀
She is beautiful! If you don’t sell her right away, consider keeping her but put her away for a while. You never know, as time passes you may be glad you have this piece. The pain is on the surface for you right night, it will always be there, but in time you’ll remember the good things and this beautiful piece in time could do just that. 🙂

You mix them with your paints and it gives them that metallic look. I’m finishing up my first PYO and I mixed some with the final clear coat to give it a little sparkle. 🙂

How totally frustrating!!!! I’ve purchased items in no big hurry and notice that the web page was loading things really, really slow. I’ve noticed this lately and thought it was my internet or computer. This is one of those items where I looked in the store and they were gone! Didn’t even know they were there. Oh well, there will be a keeper in my future sometime. :shrug:

Email Susie with your Order number and tell her the eye color you want. In your haste, and I can understand that, you were just anixous to get the item and buy it before your cart suddently became empty! I’m sure she can accommodate you in this. 🙂
Looks like another mad rush for yet another item. They must be going crazy at the factory to try and provide various ‘fixes’ for our Windstone addictions 😆 You never know when these things are going to pop up and it’s a matter of being at the right place at the right time. I’d like to try and paint just one, so don’t worry about me buying 5 or 6 at once! 😈 😀
