Wow what a bummer… I really wanted to participate but I didnt cause I thought I had an unfair advantage since I make costumes…

Regretfully, I don’t think we’ll do this one again – it’s just too much work for the level of interest. BUT, at least we got to try it out!

I’d like to participate in this Quest, I’m just not sure how to make it work out. For cheaper and faster shipping I had my GB poad sent to my US address and I will not actually be there until… uh… next Summer. XD; LOL. Is it possible to film maybe my mother opening it, and my reaction, and edit those together into a video?
You’d need to get her to sign the waiver since you’d have a person other than yourself in the video – but yeah, that should be fine otherwise.
omg just reread this to see that Melody says the prize for this will be big and fabulous!? zoooomg. I also want to know the deets about if submissions will be “judged” or if it’s just an entry = random chance.
So, we kind of posted this before I had a chance to work out the details on the winner selection (sorry, we were trying to get them before the poads arrived! :))
It will be either judged or voted or both – it will NOT be random draw, I’m just still working out which it will be.
I’ve sent out confirmations, but I haven’t really reviewed entries yet. I’ll be doing that tomorrow.
Please let me know through PM if you didn’t get a confirmation! 🙂

A lot of the staff has been ill last week/this week. No idea when the poads will be ready, but that’s likely the cause of the delays.
I only have half a costume… I guess it’ll be finished by the time the next costume quest comes around!
Participation has been pretty bad for this 🙁 Which makes me sad since lots of folks had requested one. I don’t know that we’ll run it again – it might just be too much work! 🙂
I tried removing them, but I get a weird error when I try to follow the links – which might mean someone else is trying to remove them too. I’ll poke someone tomorrow if they’re still there.
Just a little over a week left to get things in!
Also, I apologize I’m behind the confirmation emails – work picked up dramatically and I’ve been putting in 60 hour weeks – I will catch up as soon as I can (and before the end of the quest timeline!)
Emerald or peacock moon dragons couldn’t happen right now because there are no plated horns. 🙂 Maybe we’ll see them when there are!
So will we get a confirmation email once our entry is received ? Just wondering…. 😉
I’ve only gotten one so far – I usually wait and do them when I have a decent batch. 🙂 I’ll do it this weekend regardless though. 🙂
Do you have to send a before and after picture, to show what you did or didnt do? Or just the one picture with the completed costume?
