Oh those first few days were horrible! Since he could do nothing but lie on his stomach he couldn’t get to the restroom by himself he couldn’t feed himself he couldn’t do anything. It was so scary wondering if this was going to be permanent. But once the hospital gave him some pain pills he started to be able to move around enough to function here at home at least the bare minimum things.

My husband finally got approved to go back to work on next Monday! James has been out of work (on short term disability) since early December. Due to a herniated disc in his back. It had been bothering him for some time but he just thought it was a normal backache. Then on a Friday it got worse and that night he couldn’t sleep from the pain. The next day he couldn’t sit or lay on his back or even stand and walk. All he could do was lay on his stomach. So we went to the doctor’s office on Monday. She said there was nothing she could do but that she couldn’t let him go home like that. So she sent him to the hospital. The hospital gave him a shot and 4 pills and he slept for 5 hours then they were able to do xrays and a MRI. The lowest disc in his back was severely herniated so that it was touching the sciatic nerve. So the hospital send him home with the name of a surgeon to call the next day. About a week later the surgeon told James he would have to have back surgery. So 3 weeks later and a big fight with our health care insurance he had the back surgery. And our Doctor just released him to go back on next Monday. He’s happy to be getting back to normal daily life. And I’m happy to see the paychecks going back to normal also! It’s a huge stress off my shoulders to see him moving around normally again and not needing the pain pills anymore!
    Heck Yeah!!! 🙂

    with a few modifications…

Loads and loads of little pink poads,
    little pink poads for me.
All in shades of carnation and rose
    created by Melody.

Pink as the flush of a fair maiden’s blush,
pink as the sunset’s soft glow.
Pink as the hearts of a Valentines crush,
little poads all in a row.

Pink that is shaded with apricot’s tint,
    ochre, vermillion and spice.
    Melody, please take this not subtle hint;
“Pink poads for we all would be nice!”

Loads and loads of little pink poads,
    little pink poads for me.
All in shades of carnation and rose,
    I wait for them impatiently!

    twindragonsmum

Loads and loads of little pink poads,
    Little pink poads for you.
    Some people crave poads
    In carnation and rose,
Some people like pink it’s true.

No apricot poads, no shell pink for me,
I like my poads brown, green or blue.
    Not blushing in Shell,
    (And embarrassed as hell),
I’ll leave the pink poads for you. 😉

I’m with you here no pink poads for me!! Love the way you said it!! So funny!!

Here is Ferlin1984’s koi-rin. It is a cutey. I think she also likes the orange and black ones though if anyone has one to trade or sell.

    This one is really cute!!

Any updates on these or what is coming next? I’m super excited to see what the GB kirins will look like!

I’m painting gb standing -little -foot kirins, about forty are fantasy, and an unknown number of gb koi colored ones

Are these done being painted? Is it to late for you to paint some more fantasy kirins? I know a lot of people will want one and I’m hoping to be able to get one also.
