      You have no snow!

Yeah, it’s really weird, we’ve had an abnormally warm winter thus far with only a handful of snow storms! Closer to Denver has gotten a little more snow, but still has been abnormally warm… So if you’re tired of cold and don’t mind 40-50deg F weather, come to Colorado! ;p haha

I used to watch those shows too Sasha, once upon a time I was a walking animal encyclopedia! haha, not anymore though.. only random info has stuck with me! lol. The people in the mountains are the ones who get the crazy stuff! I have a friend that lives just up the mountain (About a half hour drive from my bfs place) ‘n his place gets Elk, Deer, the occasional Moose, there was rumor of a Wolf, he’s seen the Mountain Lion, Bob Cat and several Black Bears…
I think I’m ok living where the only predatory animals are coyotes and the rarely seen badger, lol

Do you know any good way of avoiding split ends? I get them constantly and it makes it hard to grow my hair out (admittedly it’s pretty long already, but I’d like it to hang down to below my bottom.)

^^ I have the same prob. Mine is pretty long as is, also, but I’d like to get another couple inches to it.. it refuses to get any longer than this, though! and I’m afraid of cutting it too short, in fear it will just start splitting and having this prob at a shorter length! I’ve tried salon hair products, but they seem to only make my hair worse, feeling dry

First time I’ve tried this.. so here’s to hoping FB isn’t totally stupid, since it’s the one place I’ve been able to get my vid uploaded properly, lol. Here’s the lil vid I took of the Badger, I was in my truck when I took this, I think this one was about as curious about me as I was about it.. but I wasn’t going to leave the safety of my truck and test my luck too much πŸ˜‰ (These guys can be vicious as hell. This one is quite young, which is probably why it didn’t come charging out chattering and growling at me, lol.) Was a really cool experience! I have a couple super cute photos of it too, I’m just not sure where in my files it is right now! (My photography folders are in a serious need to sorting and organizing!) lol

            PUFF BUTTS!

            XD Awesome!

            — They are Pronghorn, and as Pam mentioned, very common around here! There is a herd that hangs out a few miles away that is probably close to 100-150 head..
You should see them in the fall/winter seasons, Pam! Summertime they’re all scattered about, one or two here and there.. when they’re herded up is when it’s really cool to see them! (imo. Unless you get to spot a mama and her baby, that automatically takes above all lol!)

My bfs place is in the city, so I *love* being able to escape out here! I’m very partial to my open spaces ;p … Last summer there were two young American Badgers that had a den about a quarter mile away… that was really cool! The Wildlife and the storms I could never get enough of out here! (Exception of rattlers and tornados, I’m perfectly happy without either of those! lol)

haha, awesome! It is frustrating to see certain deals come up and not be able to do anything about it (Had I not overspent on xmas I’d not be so frustrated, lol) ‘n I’m still tryin to see if I can find *some* way to get the funds together to get these 7 dragons… but either way it goes, I’m having lots of fun learning more about Windstones and the following they have! I have a strong feeling my usual spending I do for the Renaissance fest is going to be cut short a lot this year for Windstones ;p haha

I don’t know if I’ll have 40 pieces at the end of the year, but I’m hoping to have a couple at least πŸ™‚

I wonder if it was a wild Fuzzy that spooked me the other day by bumping a corked vile necklace I have hanging on the switch of my floor lamp (It’s filled with Tea Rose Oil. So the nice smell might have attracted it!)

I was on the other side of the room and there was nothing around that *logically* would have made this happen! But now I think I have an idea! My room here would have so many places for Fuzzies to hide and be safe, and there are usually cookies in the kitchen! I can only imagine how many could be around!

Where is here that its normal to antelope just chilling in their front yard? lol

Plains of Colorado πŸ™‚ About 30 or so miles south of Cheyenne, WY.

I too hope I haven’t tread on anyone’s nerves.. I’ve sorta nose dived into the middle of this forum and have admittedly asked some n00b questions while trying to get my grips on how things work here and what some stuff means.

I have seen minor tussles between members, so I can imagine, just like any community, that people don’t always get along the best, and a block button could be useful..
I hope to never *need* to use it, but it would be good to have just in case..

One would think I’d get used to em out here, but they never fail to amaze when I see them πŸ™‚ especially in larger herds

Oh my goodness! What an adorable soon-to-be handful! πŸ™‚ I love the mini Aussies, they’re quite the lil firecrackers! My parents house is run by Icelandic Sheepdogs, I think if they didn’t have them, they would probably have a Mini Aussie… but the Icelandics have stolen our hearts! lol.. I imagine they have much the same personality πŸ™‚ Herding dogs in a whole are great dogs, just busy ones! My 5yr old Dutch Shepherd still acts like a 6 month old puppy, I have yet to meet anything that can truly wear her out! lol

Glad to see you found a good breeder! There are so many bad breeders out there, they give the whole scene a bad name! But there are good breeders out there, ‘n most definitely worth the research to find them (I’ve grown up around the dog show world, and still have close connections to it. So I see the good and the bad)

Best of luck with the new baby! πŸ™‚

My asking wasn’t anything of a push or anything! Honestly can’t afford the 2nd set of PYO’s right now, not while hoping to possibly get a GB Uni and keeping funds available for dragons I’m keeping a close eye out for.
It was more a curiosity question than anything…
If they restock fairly regularly then I don’t need to be worried about grabbing them as soon as I can afford them/see them, and can look into gettin one when Rogue is ready for the second set sent to her. If they’re a lil more rare to restock then I know to set money aside and be ready for em.

With that crazy weather, I’m impressed with how the staff *is* keeping up! and you guys do seem to have your hands full with lots of other things going on! I can be patient, you’ll get to em when you get to em! πŸ™‚ (That’s for everything, I know we’re all excited for GB babies too, but I think we would all rather wait a lil longer than rush everyone and leave room for possible mistakes, or drive ya’ll crazy, lol!)

‘n Branzyboo! You’ll have to show us what they look like when they’re done! πŸ™‚ I’m super excited for Rogue to be doing mine! She is very talented! lol.
‘n Thank you for the wishes! πŸ™‚ He better like this Dragon, or I’ll steal it back and keep it for myself ;p hahaha.

Nice! They should turn out beautiful πŸ™‚ I like J a lot! have you thought about maybe doing a snow leopard hind end? those spots could be very pretty too!

There is a great variance in where the gold placements are between the two, and I think the colors are quite a lot different…

and I would totally be in 7th heaven in that room πŸ˜‰ lol
