Not even sure that I’d be able to do the next swap, but I’d say unless a theme is something that *I* am personally interested in, having a set theme would be a drawback for me in entering a swap. The reason being that if a theme doesn’t interest me, I likely wouldn’t want a piece painted in that theme! In the open swaps, at least we can specify the type of themes that we want and have some control over what we get. I’ve never been a big fan of limiting artistic ideas though 🙁 Hope I’m not being too down on this – just wanted to voice what my brains were telling me 😉

Just wanted to say, this sounds like a great idea! Please, will you post pics of your piece when it is finished? I LOVE moonstones (especially rainbow moonstones!) and I’d love to see how this looks 🙂

Please visit My Webpage to see my art and PYO's that I've done in the past!I painted this guy a while back on a commission and forgot to post pics 🙂 He’s been sitting on my shelf for a bit now, and will finally be flying to his new home this weekend 🙂 I may be able to snap some outdoor photos of him before he leaves, but we shall see!
Some of you may recognize this scheme – he is the Fifth of his kind, and I have changed a few subtle things such as the patterning on some of his wing feathers and the angle of the pattern on his tail feathers.

Tonight she will sing for America’s votes for the final time on The Voice. We are all nervous wrecks! Tomorrow the winner will be named and I fervently hope it will be her. We are sure doing everything we can to try and get as many votes going her way as possible.
Win or not, she is still amazingly talented. 🙂
I get the feeling just from the Judges reactions to her in particularly this season – that win or not, SOMEONE is going to sign her to a record label. She’s too awesome not to, and with all four of them agreeing that she’s already a star, I think she’s got a great career ahead of her no matter what happens! 😀
