Okay, so I decided with my pack o' foops to just get down to business and post Class of 2014 photos rather than post 'em all foop by foop, even though I did that with the Siberian Shepherd foop. So, without further ado, here is the fabulous Class of 2014!

Ooh, a photo from their after party of course! Looks like they’re dining on chocolate. Why didn’t they invite the fuzzies? I feel sorry for them – having to look across the land of Room at this big foop party with chocolate that they weren’t invited to from their settlement of Bookshelf. Darn foops!
The foops noticed some gatecrashers, the pebbles Boone the wolf and Victoria the red fox. They weren’t welcomed either, even though Window is their home and they were technically hosting the party! I think I better teach my next foop pack better manners!
Well, that was fun. 🙂 Siberian Shepherd foop has already reached his new home in Texas, so now I just have to wait until Christmas to publically (outside of Windstone) show off his companions. These were really fun and I really want to paint more – I love these things! 😀 My next one will be a wolf foop and it shall be mine. The trouble will be picking what colour of eyes to get for it haha. (But of course that shall have to remain a pipe dream for a while, unemployed as I still am… still, I get to tide myself over with a dragon! 😀 That’s my next PYO project – an ice tabby to match the flame tabby dragon I did. It’s a commission.)

Here’s our Christmas tree! My mom is on the left, I’m the twig on the right haha. About 50% of the decorations on our tree are handmade by us. (The tree skirt is handmade too. My mom made it several years back.)
And this was my card design for 2014. 🙂 I did a limited printing of them.
I’m sooo glad to be done doing holiday art for the season. 😀 My Christmas present to myself is a break from serious artistic stuff haha. Happy Holidays everyone! 🙂

Thank you guys! 😀 It took me a while to get Kayli’s colour right to match my vision of her and I had to adapt some of her body markings to the sculpt. Luckily her particular subspecies of falcolf (she’s a falcolf, which is a species I created, not a real animal) has very simple body markings generally. The coat pattern is called ‘ribbing’ because of the way the stripes hang down straight like ribs. Falcolfs actually have fairly different anatomy from wolves (their bodies are more cat-like and they have much longer tails – plus a whack of other stuff including different dentation and noses) but I think it translated well. 🙂

Well, I realized that I have been very bad about posting to this thread! I’ve actually finished four PYOs since the last time I posted here, counting the ones which were just WIPs last time.
Here’s Flame Tabby #1, also known as ‘the wedding dragon’ – his new owners loved him so much that they’ve commissioned me to paint him a buddy! So, I’ll be working on that once I’m done my current workload, which includes a postcard trade that I really need to finish ASAP (sorry for the wait!!), a Christmas card design and a foop which is a Christmas present. All three of these are priorities right now, ack! I’m expecting to have Flame Tabby #1’s friend done sometime in February.
You can’t really see it in these photos, but Flame Tabby #1 has some nice red interference paint on him. 🙂
Next is the PYO Winged Wolf that I painted up like my falcolf character, Kayli Calmspring. She’s my favourite thing in my collection now and something that I dreamed about doing for ages (thank you for making her possible Ela-Hara!) I custom painted her eyes and she’s the first PYO that I didn’t antique because I was happy with her enough without it, plus I remembered from the first winged wolf that I did that this sculpt doesn’t really take antique all that well anyway. I discovered during the course of painting her that the feathers on this sculpt are not the same on both wings.
I feel happy every time I look at her – she’s also become my avatar here as you’ve probably guessed.

This one is for my best friend who lives down in Texas and it’s inspired by one of her characters, as well as her favourite equine colour scheme. Hopefully she likes this silly thing! Going into this, I thought foops were kind of ridiculous – then I actually got my hands on these guys and found them not only ridiculous but adorable as well as highly addictive – I want MORE! I could paint a whole army of these little beasties haha!
Siberian Shepherd #1 – colour scheme name is a private reference with my friend. 🙂 I’m hoping that this little one will succeed at his mission in life, which shall be to cheer her up and smile at her derpily whenever she happens to look at him while she’s stressing over enormous stressful university projects.
You guys are getting to see the foops first, before anyone else because I can’t post them on my blog or deviantART until after Christmas. 😀 Hopefully this week I can get all the photos of the second finished foop composited so that I can show it to you guys too. 🙂
