just sent my raffle entry in this morning at 9:31AM PDT and got an auto-reply that the raffle is over. Did it end early or is the auto-reply ‘off’??
Has the newsletter gone out yet? As of now (10:10AM MST/PDT) I haven’t received it yet. I know it takes a bit to propagate. still waiting. Any idea of what sculpt it is?
Dragon, I think you may have us beat or tied in dragons, at least windstone ones. All our boxes go in the attic (we actually put a floor in the attic to make storing the boxes and moving around easier). we use the big 12x12x18 and 12x18x18 outer boxes to corral the smaller ones. Even the outer shipping box for the secret keeper got repurposed into a box of boxes. Each one is labeled on the outside as to what boxes are inside and it is numbered. I am up to 38? of them. The Emps, OW, and RS are big enough to stack on their own. And as I am running out of the larger shipping boxes (not buying to many larger sculpts as the older families are pretty much complete), I may have put a lap or two on the stack ‘naked’. I have to corral and inventory about a dozen or so small ebay ones and get them up to the attic as well.
September 26, 2019 at 10:48 am in reply to: A Large Collection Will Be For Sale Over The Coming Months #1580697Have you checked prices at the local UPS store? I know mine sells packing peanuts in large bags – like garbage size or at least used to (haven’t been in a while). Not sure the price. Add a dollar to the shipping cost and you should have it covered over several packages? I know I wouldn’t mind spending an extra dollar so that you can get packing peanuts. (easier than shipping you a box of them from Phoenix)

If you go to the add, isn’t that the first one of the second album (Batch 2 Windstone Collection for Sale)?
September 13, 2019 at 11:15 am in reply to: A Large Collection Will Be For Sale Over The Coming Months #1579752looking forward to the pictures of the GB youngs and babies. (Don’t remember the link to the GB young gallery by one of the other forum members it’s been so long since I’ve been on). Also possibly the silver grulla baby. Oh and the ebay fledgling for my husband.
September 3, 2019 at 6:06 pm in reply to: A Large Collection Will Be For Sale Over The Coming Months #1578548While I am sure we are all waiting impatiently to see what is next, it also helps the wallet when they come out in small batches. Any ki-rins on the list? my baby ki-rin army is always looking for more members. My grail is Black Rose male ki-rin, but I refuse to pay the inflated price of the person who outbid me for him.
August 30, 2019 at 11:33 am in reply to: A Large Collection Will Be For Sale Over The Coming Months #1578234log into you paypal account. Click on the transaction under recent activity. scroll down. there should be a button that says confirm receipt. I believe that is what Dragonfeathers is referring to.
I store my boxes in the attic. The Old Warriors, Emperors, and Rising Spectrals are stacked on their own, the rest are corralled in the 12x12x18 shipping cartons my larger orders came in. The boxes are listed on the outside of the carton which is numbered. I have a spreadsheet of all my dragons recording the price and also noting which carton the box is in (if I have it – some of the earlier ones don’t have boxes). Each carton is an exercise in tetrising, especially the ones full of smaller boxes. I keep the inserts and the plastic bags, but for the ones without inserts, I don’t keep the paper wrap. I figure I can replace that later should I ever need to re-pack for storage, moving, or selling.
I miss the quantity in stock info that used to be on the product pages.
Take that back. Must have caught the new VF Male between in-stock and out-of-stock. It showed the “add to cart” button but no quantity so I figured that bit had been dropped. I see it on other product pages.
As I side note, I think I preferred the list style format, but that may be because I have a slow connection and a small laptop screen, and it takes longer to download all the nice large pictures…
August 20, 2013 at 9:42 pm in reply to: Back in Stock Messages for Violet Flame Curled Dragon #901638I got the restock notice at 11:30am Arizona time (same as pacific in the summer). I went to check and they were not actually in the store yet at that time so they may have gone out ‘a little early’. 🙂
If there is a difference in the paint job from before, with a different eye color, it would differentiate the original curlie and fledge from the new ones.
Just a thought. Or with the same eyes, those of us with the fledge and the curl are two steps closer to the full family… lolIt could have been worse. If you had been gentler on the brakes to not spill the meatballs, you most likely would have hit the idiot in front of you and still spilled the meatballs and have a damaged truck as well. And because you were the one in back it would ‘automatically’ be your fault as well. At least you only have to clean the truck, not clean the truck, repair the truck and have your insurance rates jump. < smile >
Then bookmark the page so you don’t have to go through the process each time. 🙂
I got two. Same email, same username, one minute apart. So maybe there were 300 unique users and the list only prints each once even if it sends multiple emails. This isn’t the first time it happened. Last time was the GBY poads. Mainly because I tend not to click notify until there is talk of a GB batch.
At one point (1 or 2 forum versions ago), I could “bookmark” the store pages and I used this to help me keep track of what items I had clicked notify on. Once I received the item (either through the store or on ebay), I would un-bookmark the page. It helped me keep track when we were trying to complete the collection and were way behind in the beginning. After one of the recent upgrades, I could no longer ‘un-bookmark’ those pages and clean up my bookmark list…
