I know it! My mom and stepdad are trying to move there for retirement….I swear Florida is where America goes to die…EVERYONE in MA goes and retires to Florida. I suppose it’s like that for CA too though.

The taxes in MA are crazy too. I STILL haven’t been able to find a house I can afford and the market is in the tiolet right now.

LOL! It’s just like an anime convention, but everyone in animal suits! I finally found a place where I belong! LOL!

I know I jumped into the thread WAY LATE! I just read the past 5 or 6 pages and had to catch up.

I am new to the furry fandom and am in the process of making my first suit =) I don’t have a fursona, but I think that will be my next project. I don’t understand why people would think it’s perverted. I think it’s fun! I’m actually really antisocial and have a few issues with large groups of people, like when I go to anime cons and stuff. But I feel kind of safe in my cosplay. It’s like I can forget about everything else in my life for a while and be without worries. I have a feeling my furry suit will be the same. SQUEE! Making them and being around others who enjoy it is kind of theraputic in a way.

Oh! and I STILL so wish I wasn’t on the other side of the country! I want to go to CA and go to the factory too! It must be SO COOL to meet everyone and see all the Windstones and Emus! Metting Mel, Chessie, Vantid, and everyone else…THAT WOULD BE SOOOO COOL! *trying not to sonund like a fangirl, yet failing miserably* LOL!

Actually, the weather here is about what I consider ideal — mild winters and summers that’re warm but not hot (most summer days are in the mid 80’s). But the price we pay the this weather is of course the outrageous housing prices… 😯

CA is supposed to be the most expensive state in the US to live in, but MA is a close second. I wonder why???? It COMPLETELY SUCKS HERE! LOL!

90-100 degrees in the summer and like 10 degrees or below in the dead winter. It’s really weird though, right now it’s really nice out. I think it’s in the 60s!

I’m sorry 😳 I just couldn’t resist the BIN! I knew if I checked back in like tomorrow, or even any hour or two it would already be gone and I’d be kicking myself!!! I just hope it wasn’t a scam or something since it is the same one that was just listed the other day. I don’t think it is, because it wasn’t like one of those phony second chance offers or whatever. I have 4 wheel drive Ford truck so snow can be fun =D

Although I do dislike snow to a certain point…Like lastyear when we had a blizzard and got about 6-7 feet of snow. I have some kickass pictures of my car I’ll have to find!!! All you see is SNOW! Lots and LOTS of snow EVERYWHERE…..and one itty bitty side mirror sticking out of a smal hill…..yea…that was my car that was COMPLETELY covered, roof and all with snow!!! LOL!!! I have to find those!

Yea, I ended up drybrushed another color darker in the brown color over the first one, but they look so “blah” in the darker color. I may go back to the way I had it in the picture. Now I have to do something with the wings. Hmmmmmm…

They are on hold for a few days. I have to finish up some other PYOs I’ve been neglecting the past few days.

I know, the flash really did a number on them. They are actually a choclate brown with a really dark umber color (almost black) for the antique.

Okay, here are my variations of Darcia from Wolf’s Rain. I’m doing one with white wings and two with black since I am going to keep one. None of them are done yet, and I need to tone down the brown a bit. The one on the right has been antiqued and the one on the left is still a solid brown. I love how the eyes came out though 😀 THANKS AGAIN MEL!!!
