Wow, I’m so glad I saw this post! I loved watching Dark Shadows as a kid. I actually liked both versions of the show. I adore Johnny Depp, and as Barnabas….drool!!!! :p Thanks for posting this Sasha.
I call dibs on the Egyptian wolf! 😛
I want one too – maybe Hannah will discover that she LOVES painting wolves!
YAY!!!! I can’t wait to see this pyo.
🙂 Welcome back! Sweetheart came out great! I agree with Hannah, the blue antiquing over the white really jumps out it looks great. You always do an excellent job with the bright colors.
LOL, I’m a sucker for Halloween myself. I actually collect old Halloween noisemakers from 1920’s. When the stores start setting up for Halloween in August I start looking for new decor. I thought I was the only one that wished there was a Halloween store open year round. I absolutely adore Purpleturtles gothic pyo’s. Hannah’s zombies are great too! So, I’m anxious to see any Halloween and gothic sculpts! :p
Nice job! I like the blues and copper on Patina. He came out really good Hannah. I was wondering, have you ever painted a griffin or a wolf? I think your egyptian stlye on those two sculpts would be interesting to see. I can see you making an Anubis or if the flap cats become pyo’s a sphinx, 😉 just some random thoughts. I’m anxious to see your unicorn when its finished. 🙂
Very nice! I love the detail on him. Can’t wait to see what you do with your next pyo.
Wow, nice job on these keepers I just got a chance to see them. I love the stary wings and your blending of colors are great. Gun is pretty cool has a camo feel to him. Nice job.
I am watching the series and enjoy it. I agree the cast is very good and production quality is nice. After watching two episodes, I did a bit of research and found out about the books. I just picked up book one and hopefully I’ll enjoy it. I haven’t read a good fantasy book in a while. What I do like is the author is a producer and director in the series. Which to me says he’ll have some creative control. Anyone have any good reads they recomend?
Wow, very nice! I like the colors on your pheonix. You should post your pyo’s in a thread for all of us to ouuu and ahhh at
Awesome job! I like how you can see the subtle gold flecks where the light dances off of the scales. Great job blending, that’s one of the things I’m trying to get a handle on. It’s not easy and requires a lot of paitence.
I’m guessing the eyes are lavender.
I was thinking lavender or periwinkle. Great job on the unicorn! 🙂
Very nice! I think you did a great job on the feathers, nice detail and your blending and shading is great. 🙂
Holy cow, what a gorgeous horse!
Making horses has been my impossible dream. I mean, I can sculpt them lying down, but the long legs just can’t be cast in gypsum. Don’t make me cry.
I sculpt blobs.
(and there are zillions of resin horse artists that blow me out of the water)Ahh, Melody You have a beautiful style and honestly I havent seen any resin horse artists that come close to your style. Your Unicorns and Pegasus are amazing! 😉
Tokma came out great! I agree with bodine your antiquing really makes the colors pop. The shading came out real nice too. I never considerd using pencil cool idea. Nice job Apari.
