I am so looking forward to these! I got one, and my mom nabbed one as well. I’m pretty sure that I would be happy with at least two thirds of the GB wolves I have seen.
Does it make me greedy if I hope that the one per customer limit gets lifted? If so, then call me greedy. 😛
Maybe I’m reading your post wrong, Etruscan, but I’m sure you don’t need to be a forum member to buy from the Windstone store. Many people love Windstones but don’t feel the need to participate in the forum side of things. You can sign up for notifications without being a forum member too.
I feel like posting the announcements on the Windstone Facebook page would just give everyone another site to compulsively stalk until the items get put in the store, but it’s better than nothing. Personally, I think the notification emails were the best method of alerting us to new items being put in the store, so I hope they get sorted out, or that the Newsletter announcements work.
I have to mention again I really would love a pearly pink fledgling, young, baby and hatching dragon, pretty please when you have time to have more dragons painted!

The brindle is the one I noticed first out of all of them. It might have something to do with the fact that I have a brindle dog. 🙂
The wolves, both grab bag and ivory, look fantastic. I especially like the sandy-coloured ones that look like red wolves or german shepherds. I’ll have to keep close tabs on my email until they come out so I don’t miss them.
One question: Will the ivories and GB wolves be put in the store together?
Oh man, old green would look amazing on the scratching and old warrior dragons, especially if they got some of that blue iridescent interference paint like the old green Emperor dragon. But if there is only a little bit of the necessary paint left, I guess it makes more sense to use it on a smaller sculpt so that more people get a chance to own one.
Regarding the GB wolves, I would be happy with either natural canine colours or safari patterns.
Actually, I think blood-red eyes is the norm with albinos, rather than pink, at least with mammals.
And I’ll add my recommendation for the Game of Thrones books as well. I’m eagerly awaiting the sixth book!
I would be thrilled with no-nitpicking ivory wolves. They would look so much like arctic wolves, so lovely.
I would like to see GB wolves as well, but only in natural animal patterns and colours. It’s one thing to have a unicorns in fuschia, since they are fantasy creatures to begin with, but I just can’t get behind real animals in totally gonzo colour schemes. Of course, I know there are a bunch of people who love paint puke and tie-dye on everything.
Maybe a mixed grab bag of naturals and pure fantasy wolves would be best.

I do! 🙂 I would be inclined to trade one with a lot of white. I’ve got two wild dog pebbles on the way, so we’ll see what I get.

Yay, I got 2 African wild dog foxes! 😀 I was so nervous that I would miss them again, I had my boyfriend be on the lookout for the restock while I was driving home from work lol. Naturally, they DID get restocked while I was on the road, although it seems I needn’t have worried, given that they are still in stock. I think the wild dog coloration looks absolutely perfect on the bat eared fox pebble. 🙂
I am eagerly anticipating the restock of the AWD bat eared foxes. Do we know approximately how many are going to be restocked, and more pertinently, when? I would hate to miss out a second time.
Well, I’m gutted that I missed these. Hopefully, I can get one of the restocked African wild dog pebbles on Monday. I totally thought these would be put into the store next week, not on a Friday night. 🙁 I guess I’ll just have to try and trade or buy one of the GB bat ears once people start receiving them.
