All these snow leopard and jaguar patterns listed on Ebay are absolutely incredible, Melody. I would love love love to see the big dragons, particularly the emperor and old warrior, in these colours. I mean, how awesome would they look with big bold rosettes?
Wow, that snow leopard young unicorn is gorgeous! I am not normally a huge fan of the young unicorn sculpt (I like it, but I don’t LOVE it), but I may have to throw my hat into the ring for this one.
That baby is a great match for them! Congrats!
Thank you! The baby and the mom came to me as a set. They are very sweet together!
Ha! That’s a neat coincidence, considering I received that baby straight from the store (which I traded later), and you got the male pinto flame from me. I guess we all have similar taste.
All the big cat patterns on recent Ebay pieces look incredible. I would love to see more dragons painted in big cat patterns, like emperors and old warriors with jaguar or snow leopard spots. The Bengal old warrior #1 is still one of my all-time favourite Windstones, so I would love to see more along those lines.
…the standing baby was straight from the store this grab bag. 🙂
I think that grab bag baby must have known where the right home for it was. 🙂 What a great koi-rin family.
I finally got my koi-rin. This sculpt is even more adorable in person than in pictures. 🙂 My koi-rin looks like she has been wading through chest-deep orange dye. She is very cute (I love her blue eyes and little pink nose), but there are some others I like more, so might end up trading her.
Squee! Look at the little grifflets! That is so cute.
By the time I saw the email notification, all the ki-rins were in carts, and then they were gone. I’m sad that I missed them, but considering that my favourites are the brown ones with stripes, which don’t seem to be as popular as the swirls and vivid colours, maybe I will be able to buy or trade for one.
I look forward to seeing what everyone gets.
As usual, I like the brown naturalistic looking ones. The rainbow ones don’t interest me. I always think it’s funny how people can look at the same photo of a grab bag and have totally different favorites. It certainly helps with trading! 🙂
I would love love LOVE to see the return of the hatching royalty. Alas, with the difficulty of keeping the egg and body colours separate, I don’t think we’ll see any new ones except as test paints.
That said, if Windstone were to surprise me by making a limited run of hatching royalty in blue morpho (or any colour, really), I would be on them like white on rice. 😀
ah, I have never seen a winged wolf or lion in person so i have no reference for you.
The lion is BIG, very similar in size to the mother dragon. The winged wolf is about the same size as the mother pegasus.
Actually, considering that cougars are actually much smaller than lions in real life, maybe the size difference between the two sculpts is appropriate.
April 6, 2015 at 2:28 pm in reply to: Will There Be Grab Bag Standing Ki-rins Soon or Other Grab Bags? #927563I thought I could pass on these, since I’m not a big ki-rin fan, but having seen the picture, there is no way I can resist! I especially like the gila monster and silver-backed ki-rins.
I would love to see adult poads in hoppy colours. I’m only really a fan of the young and adult poad sculpts, so even though I loved the dart frog colours, I didn’t get any hoppies.
First will be some other dragons strutting their stuff in this amazing color – perfect for spring and very nice for summer!
Yay, more pink dragons! 😀 Lap dragons would look beautiful in shell pink. Heck, I might even go for an emperor!
