Oh, wow. Everyone’s grabs are just beautiful! It’s great to see them all with more detail.
November 27, 2018 at 4:22 pm in reply to: Show Off Thread – GB Baby Unis 11/21/18 Fantasy, Safari & Natural! #1545342My baby arrived today! I’m extremely surprised it came so close to everyone else’s. I usually receive it quite a few days later and jealously watch everyone else post in the meanwhile.
Anyway, this little guy seems to be a leopard mosh! A mix of clouded, snow, and African. It’s really stunning and I am very happy with him, especially because I wanted an AWD or cat print!
However, if he is anyone’s dreamgrab, let me know! There are a lot of ones in this batch I’d be happy to have so I am open to trade offers.
November 21, 2018 at 6:21 pm in reply to: Show Off Thread – GB Baby Unis 11/21/18 Fantasy, Safari & Natural! #1544735I promised myself I would take a break from grab bags, since I only ever intended to get one… But then I saw the little safari babies, and being a zookeeper, I couldn’t stop! An early Christmas gift, I guess.
I would love any of the AWD ones, though I’d be thrilled with a clouded leopard one, too. It’s the closest I see to a snow leopard.
He fits right in! I don’t think I have any spookily-colored dragons, alas, unless BVP counts… Maybe one day we’ll get some more Halloweeny options? (I put in a plea for Autumn Leaf Cat Sconces, last week!) I hope your party is lots of fun!
Thank you so much! I second your squeak for the sconces. The more spooky or autumn themed things, the better!
That’s so awesome! Also, china cabinet is beautiful.
That means a lot to me; it was my grandmother’s! My mom was surprised I wanted it in my apartment but I insisted I needed a place to display fragile things. I’m really in love with it! If only there were more space for windstones…
Congrats BigCatKeeper! That one has a pretty design!
Thank you so much!
I received my little loaf on Monday, but only now did I get a chance to take some pictures in acceptable lighting. One of the blue/purple colorshifts, with what I believe is a hint of green colorshift just on the shoulders! Every time I look at it, I like it a little bit more, but I am going to throw this little one out there for trading if anyone is interested! I actually really like the purple/blue colorshifts, but was hoping for a floral pattern or more gold accenting instead of aqua. Though the firework patterning is quite lovely.
Everyone’s are so gorgeous! These really were a great batch. I just got the notification that mine should be here by Monday, so until then I’ll just oogle all the eye candy.
Mary, that little peacock loaf is adorable! Great grab.
I have one of these little guys on it’s way to me, as well! I hope it compliments my lazy loaf. Can’t wait to see which one everyone gets.
September 7, 2018 at 3:20 pm in reply to: Show off your Kickstarter Poads! (WARNING: Picture heavy!) #1542579Maybe a really purple one, or mostly purple on the body?
Thank you, Liza! I was considering a blue headed/purple body bean, so it’s nice to hear someone else thinking along the same lines.
September 7, 2018 at 2:13 pm in reply to: Show off your Kickstarter Poads! (WARNING: Picture heavy!) #1542575My clutter came last week and I finally got around to taking some pictures! I absolutely adore all of them, though my favorites are probably the little red and blue feathered mini and the little read headed one with the gold eyeliner and the parakeet spots.
I’m so in love with the bean poads, I think I might one or two more before the shop closes… I just don’t know which colors to go for that would best round out my collection. Right now, they are very red-headed, rainbow body heavy. Anyone have any suggestions?
Don’t forget that the pads also have to be stamped with the logo, cut with the dies, glued to the bases of the dragons, and signed.
Most certainly! I just had no idea the actual manufacturing of a custom die was such a relatively speedy process.
Depends how busy the die making place is, seems to take a week or two to get one made.
Oh, that’s not so bad! Thank you, Melody. I’ve my fingers crossed these lovely little guys will be ready before my upcoming vacation.
Oooh! Any estimates on how long something like that usually takes? I’m very excited.

Susie sent me an e-mail yesterday about sending my clutter to grooming and I cannot wait until they arrive so I can show them off, as well.
