I had planned to make different, antler-type horns for the pyo kirins (and maybe the other kirins too) but the pewter horn issue around here persists…
… I still have hope though.

Oh, that would be so awesome ! *crosses fingers* What is the issue exactly? There isnt someone around who makes custom pewter pieces ?

I REALLY would have liked to participate in this…. but with me being a noobie painter, and not having alot of time to paint….. Im scared the time frame wouldnt allow me to get this finished in time. Ordering the PYO sculpt alone may take 3 weeks to even reach me (the way customs has been lately… errr)… so Im going to pass on this one.

Hopefully when the next one rolls around I will have an extra PYO sculpt on hand, and with more experience under my belt I will be eager to join in 😉 In the meantime, I cant wait to see everyones pics of the PYO’s they receive ! It all sounds like so much fun 😉

I was told that mine was a sort-of “pre-edition”, and that the horn was changed afterwards, in the later editions that are now for sale…I much prefer the deer antler one on mine to the current ox-like horn on the others.

The final Kirins will have a normal, one pointed horn. I really like this oriental horn, and wish we had the option to get this 🙂 It looks so realistic !

Wow, some of the foxes showing up are AMAZING !! I cant wait for mine! Alas, Im STILL waiting for my fishy cat to arrive… 🙁 Customs has had her since the 24th…. arrghh!! They better not have opened it up and injured my Windstones !! Damnit, I hate waiting !!

In the meantime… these are the two red foxes that I love the most : (but there are lots of others I adore as well)

True 🙂 I like the new system… and I like the 45 minute timer. Sometimes something urgent comes up, or you need to make sure everything’s in place, or you have to go pick someone up from somewhere, and it’s nice to have enough time to go do that. I don’t know if anyone else feels that way.

I feel the same way! Sometimes I add more things than I can afford to the cart, then I go figuring out some bills and such, and come back and re-adjust my cart some more… remove things, add things… remove things… add more… LOL!! Then the phone rings and its Mom and I just have to fill her in and it takes MORE time to finish my order….

The second order I ever placed here took me 35mins to complete and I was watching the timer hoping it wouldnt run out before I was finished, lol ! So yes, I like the 45min cart-ride timer 🙂

I was at work on my last break when I noticed they had been released on the computer at work. Since I dont trust that computer to order from (plus didnt have my passwords with me) I just added a few to a cart of each hoping that by the time I got home they would have hopped out of that cart and waited long enough for me to purchase them. Seems like it may have helped, cause when I got home there were over 10 available of each (likely didnt even have to do this adding-to-a-cart thing, lol! )

So I was able to get one of each ! (just a few mins ago actually! ) Yippie ! And I went and paid for more expensive shipping, hoping that this time I wont have to wait over 2 weeks to get them ! Im actually still waiting for my fishy cat…. been almost 2 weeks now… damn customs takes so long to process things !

Anywho… Im excited ! Cant wait to see what I get ! Oh and I ordered a grab-bag Tad-Poad to, figured I might as well since they are cute and I dont have one 😉

Thanks ! The green paint actually glows under black light, and I had thought of getting glow in the dark paint, but figured for this one time use it wasnt worth the money 😉 But I agree, it would have looked cool as well.
