Sounds like a great idea in my opinion !! If I wasnt soooo far away, and if I was more inclined to travel, I would for sure be there ! (If I win the lotto, count me in !!! LOL !)

The commercial with the cow going “bock bock bock bock”….. comes to mind, but with Easter Poads replacing the cow… LOL !
I fill out the form online and put zeros in the phone number area…
I do my form online as well, but was not aware the system would accept zeros … ok thats good to know I guess ! If people dont want to give out their numbers I understand why for sure. Myself, I kinda prefer my number on any parcels that are coming to me, that way if there is some error with the addy then the post office can call and try to rectify it in a last ditch effort to deliver it 🙂
Either way, now I know I can use all zeros for the number, so I will just use that if no number was supplied with the address 😀
Im kinda excited to find out what theme I will get to try and create! I want to get started already, I hate waiting… LOL !

Just a side note, Canada Post now requires the phone number along with the address of the person it is going to, when packages are mailed from Canada to the USA. (The forms one has to fill out to ship using Expedited parcel, to the US, require the phone number for it to be accepted….) So, can maybe people also include their phone numbers with their address? Id hate to be shipping to the US and to not have the persons phone number on the forms…. and then have the package not accepted at the post office. I want to avoid any delays 🙂
Purple seems popular lately, lol! I did my last PYO, a Griffin, with a lot of purples 🙂

Upon further inspection of the photos, I noticed the flash seemed to create some defects, lol! There are no white spots of paint missing, like seen in pics 1 and 3. And the green forelegs do not look washed out like in that 2nd pic, they are actually a nice dark green 🙂 Oh, and there are no faded spots on top of the wings like the last pic suggests. Damn camera ! LOL!

So I finally finished my PYO griffin. I have name her “Purple Love”. I did end up changing some of the colors on her wings, and Im really loving the red eyes, they go so good with this color scheme I think 😉 I did antique her, as best as I could. I find she looks better when viewed from a little distance, lol ! Im quite happy with how she turned out but I think I would like to try more natural colors next time.
I would be willing to sell this girl, if someone is interested that is 😉 But if not I certainly dont mind keeping her either, since she is my first PYO Grffin. I know I have a long ways to go yet to becoming a better painter, and I do need more practice 😉
I’ve been so stupidly busy I haven’t had time to finish either of the PYOs I have in progress right now, but I did think I should mention that I’m putting up the ones I’ve got for sale on ebay.
And hopefully I’ll get a little more free time someday to finish them, they’re both going to be awesome. One’s a kittygriff in a spring theme, and the other is an 80s themed kirin, lots of bright, loud colors. 😀
Cant wait to see these ones your working on. An 80’s theme and spring theme, both sound like great ideas.
