Very cool! I have lots of Windstone now after collecting the last couple of years, probably about 100 pieces now. I have some pictures of my collection in the previous collection photo thread but may update it in a month or two. Oh any my birthday is next month so I will be 32 on May 11.

Im going to be 42 this year…. man its hard to believe ! I still feel 26 !!
Age is only a number though, its how you feel inside that counts, and how you act, LMAO! Im truly a big kid in a older persons body, LOL !! (But even my body doesnt look its true age, most people guess me to be around 30, lol !)

On a side note, Im becoming inspired and have a plan to go with now… I just hope I can make it work as well as it does in my head, lol ! Sometimes what I have pictured is not what the paint brush wants though, lol !
Just checking the computer at work, while Im on break… and I see they are out… AND all in carts !! 🙁 *cry* Looks like I did miss out… oh well, maybe I will have a chance for a fantasy one.
Got my name, and now my mind is reeling with ideas….Now to start taking some notes and seeing what I can come up with 🙂

Awww 🙁 And Im off today, and was keeping watch on my email for notices 🙁 Dang it, with the hours I work, Im always at work when these guys are released, and by the time I get to check the computer at work on my break, they are usually all sold out….*cry* …. And since this seems like a small batch, I might as well accept the fact Im going to miss out 🙁
Oh how cool ! Have you ever seen the movie “Fire in the Sky” ? Based on a true story. You must have seen it, its been around for ages, and I consider it a classic for people who “Believe” 😉
I myself have had my own share of close encounters… Many years back I was at an Ex’s place and we heard this very loud deep noise… very loud… and we went outside to look. It was night time, and all we could see were these sets of lights, low in the sky, heading away from us skimming the trees. It appeared large enough to be a cargo plane, and it was a deep rumbling sound, you could ‘feel’ the noise, it was vibrating the air. But what plane would fly that low? Plus there were no airports around there….. still makes me wonder to this day…. and later that night we seen weird flashes of light in the back of the house, in the woods.
Ahh… mysteries of the unexplained… makes life way more interesting ! 😉

So I love to browse ebay and see what Windstone deals I can get…. I seen a few good deals lately…
BUT…. well I messaged the seller explaining how important packing was, and how fragile they are, and I asked them how they were going to package the item. They replied with bubble wrap and crushed newspaper…. 🙁 And this was after I recommended double boxing and bubble wrap and peanuts…
Maybe, if they use a LOT of bubble wrap, and a LOT of firmly packed newspaper, MAYBE it will show up ok… but, with me being so far away, and them not really going into more details than that to satisify my concerns… well, I just wont bother risking it. The stress and worry of wondering if it will show up in one piece is just too hard on me, and not worth it. Its not even the money really, its the loss of such a beautiful piece due to negligence, it just saddens me and pisses me off….. *sigh*
OH… and also, I seen a few other nice pieces, that I also wont bother bidding on as the seller is using global shipping…. *arghhh!* …… this puts my costs WAY up , like for a $100 item, I pay their shipping cost of $25, and then the global shipping cost of another $25+ …. sheesh ! Then the fact the global shipping people unpack and repack the items.. and a lot of times DONT do a very good job…. WHY does ebay even allow this program !? It only adds more expenses and more damaged items to the mix. Oh, and last time I had a package sent to me like that, the tracking numbers didnt work once it crossed the border into Canada… whats the sense of that??
