Always glad to pipe in :p I actually decided work doesn’t pay me enough to stay off non-work related sites all day. If they want to increase my salary by 7-10k I’ll play nice but not currently.
One word- “Thong” and then I had to cover my eyes and shake my head. Too early and thank GOD no manager walked by.
It always frustrates me when I can’t figure out the sex of the critter. Initially I thought that was a girl but with the mustache I guess it would ahve to be a boy. Bu twhatever it is it is very cute!!

I have replied!!!
surprise surprise- look, Ski bought another dragon :p I only harass you Ski because *I* liked her too but like many am short on cash.
Personally I really want to see the original peacock colored statues in ALL of the new colors. I want to see black gold, gold, emerald peacock, rainbow, and ruby warriors, hatchlings, sun dragon, all oriental dragons for that matter, and any other ones we’ve missed etc. It’s seems strange to only do a handful in the new colors since white and emerald and leave all the other sculptures out of the limelight. I want variety!
Arlla wrote:😀 Wow, a thread made of praise for me!! XD That’s an ego booster and a half!! THANKS NIRVANA!! 😉 And I’m glad you like him. I sold him on ebay. Chery just commisioned one like it with more purple. I thought he was ugly – I never expected everyone to like him so much!! XP He looked a whole lot better in person, too – I could NOT find the right lighting to photograph him in, with all the interference paint.
Muhahahahaha!!! I already got pictures and it’s BEAUTIFUL!!! I am SO EXCITED to see it in person…she even put the red and purple together on the claws and it has green interference on the neck feathers- it’s very colorful 😀 And it’s all MINE (let’s not forget that possession occured only because Arlla is awesome and agreed to let me commission her to paint me my very own purply blue black griffy)!!! THANKS ARLLA!
I’d still like the peacock old warrior but I suspect he is gone.

I LOVE Shepherd’s pie!!! That’s a staple at my house!
Greater Basilisk wrote:Sam is a good-looking griff, though it would help to see the antiquing on the lion part. I was thinking about doing a bald eagle, but I couldn’t think of any decent, fitting coloring for the lion half. It’s hard to fit anything to brown and white without making the critter basically unicolor.
You could tip his tail and his toes in a dark brown to offset the black and brown in his talons.
So long as it is NOT the copperplate griffin I will survive.
Ilove that picture, it is very cute 🙂
Greater Basilisk wrote:Sounding good… What about those $40 shipping?
It depends on how good the paint work is to a certain person- for horses I sent my horse statue to Australia and it cost me $40 but the artist was THE artist I wanted. Some may find the $40 steep.
I don’t think they have any problems with you selling a PYO when you properly credit the sculpture to Melody and the painting to yourself. Just don’t try to sell a PYO with a Windstone color scheme or it could be considered infringement.

OMG if you ever make one of the Donkey-Dragon offspring I want one (in mostly pink with a good amount of purple)!!
