If you really want it, Cheryl. It’s in three large pieces with a dozen or so small ones I’ve glued on that may or may not stay glued.

Let me know your zipcode so I can go see how much shipping will be.

Oh okay, I can see not being able to stuff a griffin in there but I must say I am disappointed that you couldn’t even fit something as small as a poad?!

1 lb hamburger seasoned with salt and pepper cooked until brown and drained.

    2 cans of corn, drained

5 medium large potatos made into mashed potatos (don’t use potato flakes)- I add milk, butter, salt, pepper, and a slice or two of cheese to my mashed potatos until it looks like normal consistency

2 cups brown gravy (buy a little packet of easy-to-make gravy and make according to directions)

In a medium size baking dish put the hamburger on the bottom, cover with 1/2-3/4 cups of the gravy. Add drained corn on top of meat. Put mashed potatos on top of corn and spread until smooth on top. Poke 9-12 holes through the mashed potatos down to the meat. Pour remaining 1.25-1.5 cups of gravy on top of mashed potatos. Cook at 350 for 30 minutes. Serve with bread.

    Very tasty.

Good for you! Im sorry you dont get good raises. Yet another reason to join the Army!!! C’mon! I need some quality company 😀

hahahaha- love to but can’t. The idea of being in a foreign country is kind of scary for me…not to mention someone might shoot at me….I am so skittish about people shooting at me 😆

Poor Nam, I somewhat feel your pain. At least I got THAT raise, but then again I probably won’t get much more than $0.25 and that’s doing great (apparently)!

The thing is, I went to a very expensive private college (still paying the bills for it), I have a BS in Biology with a concentration in Pre-Healthcare, and dammit I’m smart! Yet I make, brace yourselves people, 30k a year. My husband, who only has a HS degree is making 40k at his job but he’s smart too. Since I’ve been here I’ve suffered from brain rot and I need something different. It’s just the icing on the cake for them to prohibit internet usage.

oh no no no, I just stopped caring. I have been here 3 years now, with 1 $1000 raise to show for several VERY good reviews and 1 HR dispute with my ex-manager who by all rights deserved to be fired or sent to sensitivity training. They don’t GIVE regular raises. It’s nice to be employed but that is all it is. No career potential here.

Hey, I thought you were still at home today since you were on the forum. Did your company rescind the ban on non-work related websites?

Ummm, no. I just decided to ignore it, tone it down maybe, but mostly ignore it. Seriously, if they have such a problem with it and want to request that I leave then I would be happy to get another job which is exactly what anyone who knows me is begging me to do anyways.

In a way I am forcing myself down a path that is going to lead to a very specific end and a very specific choice should they choose to push the issue. The new choice will be “what do I want to do with my life now- what do I want as a career?” It will break me out of this comfort cycle I am currently in. Sometimes I make the best decisions when painted into a corner despite whoever does the painting.

As an aside, I just got my midyear review and on a scale of 1-5 I am at all 4s and one 3. A manager recently noted that of my “side job” I am doing a far better job than people who do that as their ENTIRE job. So kudos to me. It’s a trade off- I do my work and do it well and they leave me alone (hopefully). Nonetheless if they have a real problem with it then I have a real reason to leave- they don’t pay me enough and if another company will pay me more but require I stay off of non-work related sites then I will respect that. But not for this company.
