Mine came! He’s 3rd row from the bottom, 8th one in from the right. He’s got green eyes, coloring goes from dark burgundy into greens, and his pattern is tree branches with a couple birds hidden in the branches.
The pattern is similar to Dragonfeathers but in bright colors.
He’s super cute and is this great color blend between my two young grab bag poads.
Edit: seems he was the one dragonfeathers had as a favorite on the other grab poad post, he’s the third one down in the first row of the photos she posted. I’ll try to post photos later this weekend…

Mine came! He had a little adventure and ended up down the street, but luckily the lady whos porch he ended up on knew my parents, and took it to their house, where they accepted it with some confusion, heh.
He’s a beautiful maple leaf griffin, but I can’t read the person’s forum name. Can’t show pictures right now, but I will asap.

You have no idea how thrilled I am that he finally arrived and in one piece it seems! Dragonmedley was absolutely amazing at helping me out and being the go between so the swap surprise wasn’t ruined while we worked out the shipping mishap! I can’t thank her enough for all the help!!!!
When I found out UPS had ‘corrected’ the original “invalid” shipping address, and then once I FINALLY got a live person at ups to tell me what they ‘corrected’ it to, I was so freaked. They had changed the house number, street, even the zipcode! Told them I didn’t know who they thought they’d found in the phonebook that the corrections were based on, but it obviously wasn’t the right person. They supposedly fixed the address back to the correct one, but next thing I got was a tracking update saying “delivered to porch” & 2 minutes later a second notice about the delivery intercept and corrected address…nothing after that to say where it actually ended up being delivered to. So you can imagine how VERY relieved i am that even though they still delivered it wrong, you did still get him and in one piece!
Now I can finally breath and its just an entertaining story. 😀 I really hope you love him…he is a really strong willed bird! Or maybe cat… He refused the softer, more neutral color scheme I had planned and even started with and before I knew it, he was wearing such a colorful coat of color…he’s very independently minded. LOL! :bigsmile:
Oohh, they are all looking so great! They are just gorgeous so far, can’t wait to see the rest!
I love doing a theme & seeing how diverse everyones interpretations are!
Mine was supposedly delivered Wednesday…going to have to double check tracking I guess, getting rather worried about if he made it there in one piece…or maybe she just hates him…*worry, worry, fidget*
Mine was delivered two days ago. Big time impatiently waiting….:) Does she like it? Does she not? That be the questions.
Aack! So Sorry! I posted the update in the other thread. I got a super cute kirin from Pegasus4240! Just wasn’t able to actually retrieve the package from my apartment manager until late last night, and no time yet to photograph or update my posts. I’m so sorry I worried you!
I will try to post photos later, if you have any Pegasus please post them!
For everyone else, I got this super cute kirin called Solstice. She’s shades of fall orange and cream; so vermillion for the side scales, then mostly burnt orange for the main body, mane/tail and feet are the burnt orange shading to peachy-pink orange to cream, then she has a creamy colored belly and 3 cream socks – and brown eyes. 🙂
I love her Pegasus! Thank you so much! She is actually in the middle of my dining table because she matches my Thanksgiving table runner and decorations perfectly! She is why I don’t specify a sculpt or color; I know it was hard on you, but as much as I love her, I would never have thought to ask for that sculpt because its actually my least favorite truth be told…but I really like orange and in person the sculpt in those colors is so incredibly cute I can’t help but smile everytime I see her! So much so I think I will actually buy a kirin PYO now so I can paint her a companion. :bigsmile:
K, so I got home late from work just now & had a package delivery notice in my mail box. The package is with the apartment manager safe and sound, but I can’t get it until after work tomorrow night. I wasnt expecting any packages besides the swap, so I just wanted to reassure whoever had me for the swap that if tracking showed a delivery, it’s here, no worries. Just can’t confirm anything until late tommorrow….
If it’s not my swap piece I’ll be soooo dissapointed, will be dying all day at work until I can confirm & open it!

I got my ship address too late friday to ship, so sent mine out saturday; my UPS ships ups & usps, so had them price both. Cheapest with auto tracking & default $50 insurance was almost $16 & ups was cheapest method; but they promised with tracking it would get there by wednesday…

Mine came! She is soo ridiculously cute!
She has bright blue eyes, goes from purple by the beak to blue tinged green to yellow that deepens into a brassy gold. She has a semi-opaque stripe of pearl down her back, two wide-set teal eyes on her lower back almost on her sides, dark metallic blue stripes from each eye & black stripes from the front of the eye towards the forehead. Hair is dark purple into white.
Can’t post my own photos yet, but I got the dappled chestnut paint in middle of the back row of the store photo. He is beyond gorgeous! Even seems to have two-toned eyes, gray at the middle with a brown outter ring.
FYI – the new baby dragons are actually smaller than the colt, only barely exceed the top of the colts knees & unbelievably cute!
I actually got mine last week. Thanks so much for sending them!
Now I just have to settle on the design… :bigsmile:
