Happy birthday Melody!
I’m interested as well; I agree next fall would work better for saving up & arranging any time off that may be needed.
I’m in!
Sent you my email. 🙂
I still can’t post photos myself, but my wolf is 100% solid, shiny black with metallic gold eyes.
Here I was innocently checking my email while prepping for the drive home and this afternoon’s Superbowl after an awesome weekend in a Seattle and then this. ..(luckily randomly screaming with excitement is the norm in Seattle today.)
OMG! What an incredible way to start the new year!
Thank you Melody & everyone! Jay is my first griffin and what a gorgeous first she is!!!
Yay, finally got mine! Mmloda painted me a really cool griffin in what she called a fire cat color scheme. He’s super awesome, I love him! THANK YOU so much!
Please please mmloda if you have photos post them. I still haven’t had time to setup a cloud account to post photos here yet. ..
On an side note, even though I never set a sculpt or color pref for the swaps, somehow all my swap pieces to date are all really similar & complementary color schemes. They look amazing together, like a deliberate family and I adore them, just thought the similarity under these circumstances was statistically really amusing. 😉
Whooo…I don’t even know where to start. ALL the swap pieces are just freaking gorgeous!
The variety of PYO pieces available makes for such an exiciting diversity in the swaps now…I just love it! Awesome work everyone!
Can’t wait to see the rest.
Happy, now slightly belated, Thanksgiving to all the sweet & lovely Windstone forum members!
Although, this thread at this time of morning for those on the west coast may be more whose still up gleefully having fun ooorrrr, whose a masochist doing black Friday work or shopping LOL. 🙂
Oh boy oh boy… tracking says delivered 11/24 already. Let the nail biting & insecurities commence while awaiting confirmation of a safe arrival & hopefully that they like it! 😉
Just can’t wait to start seeing the photos of everyone’s!
Ouch! That’s steep, last I shipped a dragon from US to Canada for a swap last year I used UPS and it was fast, easy, and only cost like $25 or so. Box size and weight normally impact the cost, so suspicious he stated differently, but I don’t ship in canada hardly ever so hopefully one of our folks that does can weigh in with a better answer for you….
Meanwhile, mine shipped today! They should get it monday. So nervous…last swap my piece went on a walkabout and it was really scary there for awhile. Now this time I couldn’t find the original shipping box and ended up having to use normal double boxes…add in all the bad weather lately and really nervous about it arriving safe and on time. Prob more nervous as always that they won’t like it though; first time painting that sculpt, had complete freedom on the theme for the first time, and so of course, my muse wasn’t cooperative at all… :p
So lacking in confidence more than ever this time, even though I think it came out pretty neat in the end! Swaps can make you so oddly needy cant they? LOL
Congrats Lokie! I adored yours, esp. the tadpoad parrot. He was so adorable. 🙂
October 3, 2014 at 4:58 am in reply to: Grab Bag Pebble ARCTIC Fox Show Off thread! 09/25/14 #920066Mine came today! As far as I can tell she’s identical to the one that is dead center in the store photo (light grey, some light sandy shade, & white). A total cutie!
Love that calico stormbreeze!
No photos, but mine looks almost identical to Hannah’s except even darker. He’s super dark grey with all black legs, feet, tail, ears, & mask. At first glance he looks almost solid black.
Whew, entry sent; hopefully its all correctly addressed, labeled, & marked…
This is a fun quest!
Good luck to everyone who’s participating!
My two came today. I have a gray on gray striped tabby with a white snipe up the nose and a white chest and feet – similar to Serendipity’s gray guy. It looks like he’s roughly second row from the top, and maybe the fourth from the left in the second class photo.
My second one is also second class photo, first/top row, farthest to the right. He’s a little washed out in the class photo, but in person he’s basically a cream with tannish marks on the back, face, with a small darker snip on the nose. His coloring is actually pretty close to my cream point ragdoll’s.
