Finally got a chance to take and upload photos! Here is the handsome “Yuanshi”, received from bodine! He has a lot of interference/shine to him! I was pretty open with my request as usual with it being mostly free choice, though I do offer suggestions. One was a male foo dog to go with “Liang”, a female foo dog I received in a previous swap, but it was just an idea. This is what bodine decided to go with.
“Yuanshi” with “Liang” (received from a previous swap from Ciarnet). They make a wonderful pair!

Gorgeous! She’s (he’s?) HUGE! Now, I hate to critique artists who are better at any skill than me (and that’s most lol) but to be really picky (because at first glance,-WOW!) I’d say where the horn is attached looks awkward. It doesn’t look like it could happen in the wild (assuming that hippocampi are real animals) and the angle of the horn too-I prefer unicorns with horns that have a 15-20 degree angle so it stands up a little more straight. Also, the silver stripes in the mane could be blended more. They seem a little harsh.
On the other paw, I LOVE the soft feathering of the red and orange patches on the tail, and the appaloosa spots. The texture of the rock is great too-I’m amazed you sculpted the whole thing (even though I have been stalking this thread ^_^) and I love the free flowing nature of the tail fins-great job! I’m thinking if there was a way to get the waves to be translucent if you did something like this in the future-maybe some sort of acrylic/resin? Totally kick it up a notch. Still love this one <3
The whites just vary. They were back in the day when, I guess, Windstone painters were less coordinated with each other and there were variances in color. Some have a “heavy gold” and some are bright white 🙂
Did you win the item in an eBay auction? If so, I’m pretty sure the seller can’t leave negative feedback for you (which I think is wrong – some buyers need to be left negative feedback!). Also, you can open a “not as described” claim through eBay or PayPal.
agreed. A seller can not leave you a negative feedback. The most they can do is “report” you but I’ve reported bad buyers before and they lived another day. I doubt ebay does anything about reports on buyers, TBH.
Yes, ebay and paypal ‘got your back’. You can most definitely get your money back through ebay/paypal if the seller isn’t co-operating. Just claim it’s not as described (which, it’s broken, it’s not. How do you know it wasn’t damaged BEFORE shipping?) and there will be no problem. Also, if you pay with a credit card (not debit card) you can go to the credit card agency and report you had a problem with an item….but I don’t see you’d need to go that far. Good luck!

Pebble wolf puppies would be amazing…especially if they were sitting down somehow so they could be posed near the adult. Oh dear. I don’t think I could get enough of those!
Congrats! She *is* amazing isn’t she!? Just be sure to put her on a sturdy piece of furniture so you can keep her around a long time 😉 YAY how exciting!
