WWWWOOOOWWW That wolf/collie mix is gorgeous! I want one! ….well that looks like this but is actually a dog.

Also, those poodle wolfs look messed up lol they also remind me a little of Irish Wolfhounds

You know, this was a good read. I am one of those people that wanted a wolf dog…but I live in the city, and they are not allowed here, so I never bothered to look into them too much. Also, 2 dogs is my max, and my beloved husky died last year, so 1 dog is enough for me. But, after reading this, I don’t think I’d want a REAL wolf dog. I never considered that they’d be so unfriendly and well, wild. And I know someone who told me she had 4 wolf dogs. I met them. After reading this, I think they are huskies/mixes of other dogs. 3 were very friendly, and the 4th one was just very shy; like he wanted to be your friend but was too scared. They were cool dogs nonetheless, but most likely the person she got them from lied to her. She was very intelligent and not someone who would say her dogs were wolf dogs if she had no reason to believe that. (like you were saying, some people know better but say it for the “cool factor”-she didn’t strike me as that type)
I have dreams of working with wolves somehow some day, when I have some spare time. But for anyone else, huskies are a great substitute for “wolf dogs”. Their coats are soft, they have hilarious personalities, and are usually pretty friendly.

Never heard of the show, but it sounds just like TV to take something serious and 1.Be misinformed 2. Stereotype and 3.treat it lightly and half heartedly. Like you said-the character SHOULD have been very sick and possibly disabled in some way but she was acting as if she didn’t have the condition. I think every minority group has been through this at one time or another. Honestly, it’s TV. If it offends you, don’t watch it and don’t worry too much about it. I find torture to be very offensive. The SAW movies are horrible, despicable, and I can’t believe there was a human being sick enough to think of the concept. But, I don’t watch the movies and don’t support them in anyway. I also recommend to anyone that they never ever see them. That’s just me though.
Or, if you are worried, write the TV show and contact them on all their social media sites. If anything, I think it draws attention to a very rare condition. I’ve heard of it before (I’m an x-ray tech) but didn’t recognize it by the abbreviation. So in a way, it’s creating awareness 🙂

How much is the young dragon?

He’s a Quest prize signed by Melody. $270 with shipping included. That’s essentially what he cost me.

Thanks guys! I feel very lucky to have these pieces.

Beautiful new collection pieces WolfenMachine. I can relate when you say pieces pop up when you can’t/shouldn’t buy them. Weren’t you the one waiting for the Blue Morpho Secret Keeper to be restocked? Did you snag one? I’m curious to see what one of those looks like in person because I’ll never have the funds to buy one. 🙂

I was waiting for the SK in BM to be restocked 🙁 but again, I shouldn’t ….there’s only one left so Im very very very very tempted. I’ve got a few pieces up for sale hoping I can get her before shes gone >.<

You have two of my favorite 3 production/LP colors. Red Fire and Blue Morpho (the other of course is Violet Flame 😉 ) The little coiled mother in BVP looks fantastic! I haven’t seen her yet.

I just got this gorgeous boy in today 😀

and this little young oriental in copper patina came this week too. I’ve been waiting to find one that matches my adult. Plus he was just $50 so I couldn’t pass him up! I’m trying HARD not to buy ANY windstones since we are saving up for a house but damnit why do the things I’ve been looking for forever pop up when I’m trying to be good! I also found a JADE young oriental recently. Now the only one I’m missing is that Ruby young oriental that evades me so. Once we get our house, I’ll have a $400 bounty on one’s head. J) For now, I hope there ISNT one lol

I drove 300 miles round trip to pick up a white old warrior once…but she was a friend from the forums and I wanted an excuse to see her 🙂 gas cost me more than shipping would have lol That 150 miles one way and I’m just at the next major city (Houston to Austin, Tx) You can drive for an hour and still be in Houston. X_X

This is a REALLY beautiful color! I hope it becomes at least limited production one day. That rising and sitting spectral-oh-be still my heart! *clutches chest and sways*

Melody said in another thread “For example, we retired the “Red Fire” color, so “Fire Berry” could be next in line to replace it.” Sounds promising!

                  😀 I hope so!

Drag0n, I’m glad I’m not the only one feeling that way! Lots of projects back logged and I feel like I’ll never finish some.
Hang in there! It is a means to an end! I put my whole life-hobbies, friends, etc. to finish school. I did it, and I know you will too!

lol Melody you are too funny. I’m a little shocked that a poor baby Windstone got squished into a new life form. Have you thought about sculpting some real animals and or bringing back the old “animal” line? (yes, I’m still waiting patiently for a Windstone wolf like the old days, and sad I missed the one on ebay a billion years ago {also that it went for over $700})
