I got mine. Despite the tracking saying that they wouldnt be here until tomorrow, they were on my doorstep when I got home tonight.
I’m going to post the one I know I’m keeping. The other, I’m saving back for trading… But I need to see what becomes available first before I commit to any trade.
I apologize for the crappy pics. I’ll get daylight ones tomorrow. She’s actually purple and her name is Narwhal. Dark blue eyes.

USPS tracking told me for three days that I was scheduled to get my package TODAY, and this morning when I checked tracking, it had changed to TOMORROW. ): ): ): USPS LIES!!!
Though there is a minor ‘heck yeah’. Lovely Fed-ex did deliver my new coop for my ducks. 😀 I love my ducks.
I’m still going to quasi-stalk with my phone just in case, but tomorrow is fine too since I’m off work. Have someone relying on me to try to get one for them.
Drag0n, Im sure someone would be willing to trade. Plenty of people here (like me) prefer the ‘not fantasy’, so I’m sure you can get a young or two you like better in exchange.
Cant wait for pics and names.

GAH! My delivery date on the usps site changed from 9/26 to 9/27. Apparently the package didnt make it to my post office fast enough to go out on the truck today. T.T I was just there mailing a package too. They should have just given it to me. Blahhhhhhh.
Edit: Checked all of my incoming tracking numbers for these guys and baby gb trades. Seems they will ALL be getting to me tomorrow. Unicorn party?

I hope they remain in the store as a thing they do a couple times a year. Both babies and youngs.
And I hope things besides unis become grab bags. Like young poads. Im not demanding these things by any means, just speculating and brainstorming and its a happy thought.
I wasnt ranting. Or complaining. Just making a suggestion. Calmly. I find it easy enough to pay the price increase but a few people dont. A few people cant get them at all now because of the increase in price set them beyond the budget they saved. And I can understand those in particular being upset about it. Some of us can go ‘eh whatever’ and pay it. Some cant. It is those I speak the suggestion for. 20$ is a LOT with no warning.
Perhaps the price should be scaled back to 120? so its an increase over 110 but not so high that its nearly the cost of the white grand unicorn… Its already over the cost of the adults in white and grulla.
Omg both of you live so close! My dad lives in Mississauga, I grew up there 🙂 And Mmloda lives in Oshawa, I live in Kingston, and LIH lives in montreal! We all live in a big line, haha. We should all hang out and play with all the grab bag unicorns together xD

Every time I read the name ‘Shimmering Embers’ my brain sees “Shiver Me Timbers”…

I dont mind metallics or irridescence on ‘normal’ horse colors. Its quite striking. I just have NO interest in mister blue and green uni or mister calico, for example. The only crazy uni I even had slight interest in is the pink one.
Many people, and I am one, would prefer to see them and then be able to just buy the one we like.
This. I like the grab bag concept, but honestly I’ve had better experiences buying from someone or trading than getting directly from the factory. I’ve always ordered two when they were available but only once did I ever like both enough to keep and not sell or trade them. Those are pretty terrible odds.
I also would like it if the batches were split between ‘normal’ and ‘fantasy’ colors. I prefer the normal ones.
