Oh, the poor kid! 🙁
I also just saw this, and my first thought was that I hope he doesn’t have to have a root canal. Yes, it could have been worse; he could have lost an eye, or something else equally awful, but this is bad enough. I don’t know about implants, but nothing done by a dentist is fun. I know root canals can be pretty miserable, and I hate to think of anyone, but particularly a child, having to have three of them…. 😥
Speaking of new cameras, LadyFirebird, what did you get and how do you like it? The picture of the Amythest Hatching Dragon looks particularly good for being so close up. 🙂 Mine just bit the dust, so I’ll have to start checking into a new one. 😡
Can anyone recommend one they really like; or for that matter, things to stay away from? I would like to start a thread on this, because I need help! What section would be best to post this? 😕
I wonder what the bottom looks like. It’s interesting that the seller posted 18 pictures but none of the bottom.
Whether they are genuine or fakes, you would think sellers would clean up their items a bit. Who would ever want to buy these filthy things? :negative:
Look at picture #14 in the description.
Yes, Ruffian, I would be excited too. He’s a handsome fellow, isn’t he? Congratulations from me also. 🙂
You can see both versions of the Gold Lap in this thread, and are they ever different:

They were quite frequent and always accompanied by throwing up. 🙁 Eventually (and it was a long time coming), they became less frequent and also less violent. 🙂 He hasn’t had one for several years now, only what would be termed an ordinary headache. We have never been able to figure out why; it was as if he just “outgrew” them. 😕 😀

I’m just doing my job. :hi:Nope, not just doing your job! People are expected to do their jobs. You always do more than I expect. 🙂
You are the “face” of Windstone because you are the one most people have contact with. Customer relations can make or break a company, but I never have to worry about calling Windstone. And no menus to go through to get to you, either. 😀 Zowie!! You and Windstone are great! 😀 😀
Add my thanks to Susie; she is just awesome! She always goes beyond what I expect. I recently told someone to contact Susie…. that she always bends over forward, backward, and upside down to help people out. 😀
It does NOT look like mine. Wish it did. The color on mine does not go down nearly that far toward the feet, and my feet (make that his feet) are much less purple. 🙁

Stand at the doors and get trampled! :shout:That is so funny!
True; but so funny. 😛
This is an Artist’s Edition painted and signed by Windstone’s head painter, Olimpia Carapia. She is MIB with COA.
This is from Windstone’s auction description:
“airbrushed bright coppery orange with flecks of metallic gold on the surface…. details of metallic gold and is antiqued with deep brown…. dichroic glass eyes change color depending on their angle…. a medium gloss finish.”
She is for sale for $250, which includes shipping and insurance (Priority Mail or UPS ground) in the lower 48. This is #4 in a series. #5 recently sold for $305 plus shipping.
That Copper Gold Lap is #3? I never even saw the first two. 😮
Completely off topic, purpleturtle, but I had to tell you how much I love my “Charvi” unicorn! 😀
There are seven.
