      Just trying to help… 😥

Awwww skeeter it was totally helpful advice and kind of you to even offer it. No sad cry faces k. 🙂 I get ya!

      Thanks, Branzy! 🙂

I just don’t think it’s anything to get worked up about. 🙂 I joined eBay back in the mid-to-late 90’s and signed up for paypal when more sellers started accepting it (back in the olden days you used to have to mail the seller a check, wait for the check to clear, then wait for your item to arrive. It took like a month to complete just one transaction!). I’m in control of WHO my money goes to, how much, and where the funds come from. Sometimes it’s nice to have your bank account to fall back on (or when my hubby just depostied his paycheck and I want to buy a new Windstone with it, teeheee!). Whatever type of payment you have linked to you paypal right now hasn’t been abused, the secondary source of funds is just added security for both you and paypal.

It’s been several years since I verified my Paypal account, but I remember getting that email.
To tell if the email is a spam “phishing” attempt, read the fine print at the bottom of the email. If anything is spelled wrong (like “paypall.com” is one I’ve seen) forward it to spoof@paypal.com. They actually do read them and keep track of the fake emails going around and will respond to you.
If anything sounds fishy to you, call paypal directly, that’s what they’re getting paid for. Make them explain it to you and see if there are any other options to help get you going again.
          🙂

$555 for the blue hatcher, and no love at all (so far) for the blue bear. What is the lowest price that a test paint Windstone has sold for?

I’m curious to know that, too! I remember there was a little guinea pig that went for an astonishingly low price about a year or so ago. Anyone remember that piggy?

If you are thinking of Red Fred, I have that guy. He went for around $50 bucks, but I don’t remember the exact amount

Wasn’t there another one that went for around $20? I remember thinking that I should’ve been watching it, it was a heck of a deal!

Wasn’t there a hatcher several months ago that also went for a pretty penny? I can’t remember what color it was, I just remember being shocked by its sale price, too.

There was a gold one with silver scales I think that sold for quite a bit. 🙂

That’s the one! I think these little guys’ popularity has been underestimated.

They do that here in the US, too. For only $249.00 you can have your very own solid gold Spongebob Doubloon! (Yes, it’s a real commercial I saw!)

Oh man, Riversgrace, I just read this! Reading that made my tummy hurt. My boys are almost 4, imagining either one of them alone outside terrifies me! He was an idiot for thinking that was okay! **cleaned up for public viewing** I’m grateful to hear that people with sense and big hearts were able to step in and help. If you ever need a friend to vent to, you know where to find me. <3

Thank you Tamara! If you use the hospitals site to email a greeting to a patient, the greeting is printed and delivered by a volunteer. The patients do not have to access them on a computer. 🙂

That’s neat! Can you post the link of where we can do that too?

Oh my god…..I Love to Read and have such a hard time finding anything I’ll enjoy. I really love to read LKH so I am gonna run out and check out Kim Harrison. Anyone got any other Author suggestions for me along the vein of Hamilton. I really like, Vampire, Werewolf, night creature of any kind etc. Ya get my drift. Oh and of course Dragons!!!

JR Ward, Keri Arthur, Patricia Briggs, Carrie Vaughn, Mary Janice Davidson and Lora Leigh

My hubby is a HUGE Patricia Briggs fan. Her Mercy Thompson series is about a were-coyote just trying to live her life. That series has lots of werewolves, vampires, demons, and fairies. Her Alpha and Omega series is about a woman who falls in love with the alpha werewolf’s son. My hubby devours those books! (I read mainly scary books :D)

We have a very busy road in front of our house, so they’ll always be indoor kitties.
Believe it or not, she’s sitting by my foot as I type this! The reason I used the word feral to describe her is because at night when we’re having our quiet time if I so much as take a deep breath or shift my weight she disappears. Everything spooks her, that’s how we thought of the name Spooky for her.
Fifi loves toys! I think the laser pointer is her absolute favorite. While Fifi is chasing the laser pointer or playing with a scrap paper or a ball, Spooky just sits under a chair and watches her play. It’s very sad, because you know she really wants to play too.
I won’t give up though! I understand why they needed to be adopted together, I don’t think Spooky could handle being separated from her sister. I talked to the lady at the adoption league, she couldn’t tell me anything about them. Just that they came from a litter of four (three lynxies and just one tortie). It seems like they just took the kittens, vaccinated them, spayed them, and stuck them in that little cell. I get the impression that they’ve never been inside a house before, maybe it’s a lot to take in? Even the TV scares them!
Speaking of TV, I have watched My Cat from Hell once! I completely forgot about that show, especially since I now have a difficult kitty! I’ll start watching it whenever it’s on. Animal Planet always has something good on!
My hubby is trying something new. Last night we rounded her up and put her in her kennel carrier. Then he set the carrier facing him on the couch while he played hours of PS3. That way she has some personal space but she’s still around us. Maybe one day she’ll notice that we aren’t that bad. I don’t know if that will help, but I don’t think it could hurt her.

Eleu, I’ll surf around that kitty site this weekend and see what I can learn!
