I thought I was the only one, LOL!! I keep dreaming that a new Kirin sculpt is in the store, but my computer keeps crashing when I try to order it. It’s like the grand unicorn, but it’s a huge grand kirin. I always wake up feeling unrested and nervous after that dream, LOL. :bigsmile:
Chris, next time you’re in that store, check and see if there are any rainbow fledgies laying around! 😉I tried really hard to think of where fuzzies actually come from. I think they come from a magical land that people don’t look hard enough to see. My little ones helped me sculpt a bunch of mushrooms out of natural clay, when they were dry each was painted to compliment the colors of our fuzzies’ coats, then the tops were splattered with paint to give them some bumpy mushroom texture. It doesn’t look like it, but the top photo took a really long time to make.

I’m very glad that the auctions don’t get extended for a little more time when a bid is placed. I’m one of those people that get a rush from bidding, if there’s more time I’ll keep bidding. Then at the end I’ll go “Wait! I bid WHAT?”, LOL. I bid my max amount when there is a certain amount of seconds left (my lucky number, I’m a little OCD too!). If I get outbid then I don’t have a chance to bid more than I can afford. If I bid my max at the beginning and get outbid, I WILL bid more than I wanted (or have) to pay. I don’t do it to snipe, I do it to keep control of my spending! XD
Okie dokie, I’m stumped. What animal pattern is this lil guy? I’m happy with either keeping him or trading him. Either way, I think he’s awesome, but so are over 100 other ones! XD

I live in PA. UPS usually takes almost two weeks to get here, Priority mail takes 2 or 3 days. The tracking says that my safari-corn is in my mailbox right now! WOOOOOOOO!
Welcome!! :party: You’re very right, they’re very addicting!! I have two toddler boys, our tradition is as soon as a box from Windstone arrives, we all gather ’round. They guess what creature is in the box, then they insist on giving it a hug and a kiss before it goes in the curio cabinet! I can’t wait for the days when we can tell each other stories about them, too!
Welcome to the family!So if there are no longer store announcement emails, and we can’t haunt the forums, what are we supposed to do? I figured these were going into the shop today (04/25) after the blog post yesterday evening, but now I find they went in yesterday and they’re long gone.
The store announcements are for new items that aren’t in the store yet. These little unicorns are already in the store and are just restocked. The announcements are still around (as far as I know 🙂 ). Make sure you press the “notify when back in stock” button on anything that you’re waiting for and you’ll get an email when they come back. I think I pressed that button for half the things in the store, lol. :bigsmile:

I somehow got two back in stock emails.. but I was haunting the store any way.. *hides away in silly shame* (and by the way skeeter, I love your avatar! I always watch it like 2 or 3 times before I move on. So cute!) 😀

If I counted correctly, there were 36 in the first young uni batch. The original baby “goof-up” batch that started the craze had around 20 in the batch. If I line up my babies from first goof up baby to the candy corn, it’s amazing to see the progression of detail! Melody keeps working harder and harder on these little guys. I think the profits from this batch should go to a “send Melody to the beach” fund. 🙂

Weird, but did yall send out store announcement emails? I didn’t get one lol. Ill re-register I guess.
I did not get any sort of announcement e-mail either.
There weren’t announcememnt e-mails this time (since we kinda crashed the store last time :shy: ). If you hit the “notify when back in stock” button, you would’ve gotten a back in stock email when they were put into the store, but there wasn’t any advance warning for these little fellas.
I really like this new cart system! Now I don’t have to hold my breath that I check out fast enough! And if we miss something, we can check back in an hour with hopes of still getting one! :bigsmile:
