If you guys are looking for other pieces like dragons, prototypes, retired stuff, etc. make sure you e-mail him. I just purchased a white pegasus from him and it was as mint and new as could be! He also packs stuff for shipping like there is no tomorrow. Can’t say enough good things!

Isn’t it though?! They are really nice. They are kind of mesmerizing!

but I seriosly think someone has issues with painting those nipples….the first one I got had lopsided ones and this one looks like they rubbed the paint off them after they painted them…..
but she’s still really prettyThose were murder to paint perfectly. Sorry about that.
I can imagine….the one I have now is very well done…..the first one I got was actually when they first came out…..and the only piece I have ever been disappointed with on the paint…..
I know if I had to do it myself I would probably go nuts….I’m much pickier with what I paint than with what other people paint….
but I still want to see the one you had painted in the other color…I forget which color you said it was….
Me too. I would like to see what other color variations you have done on her.
To be honest, she wasn’t a “must have” on my list when I first saw her. I think the 2 things that sold me though was the detail on her hair and the beautiful colors you used on her tail. It’s really hard to find nice sculpted mermaids. This is also one of the few “people” scultpures you have done which make it even more rare. Thanks for making her. Your mom was right! 😉
They are not my favorite (personally), but I think they look nice. I can see why many members like them, they’re just not for me.

Yea, sorry, here she is:

I just got a Sea Jewel mermaid and although I’ve seen her in stores before, I liked her better in person when I got to hold her and look at her up-close. I hadn’t noticed that she had intereference pain on her skin before. It really looks nice.
What I really wanted to know is who was your model for the face? She has no eye brows and a very peculiar smile – reminds me of the Mona Lisa.
What is it about?

I like Green Blaze.

Rockiit just sniped my copper dragon, too. Dont know who they are, though. How was your dealing with them?
I know this question wasn’t directed at me, but I sold one of my Windstones to her and she was a great buyer – very communitive and fast pay.

Which is silly, given that the sitting spectral in peacock was obviously available from the factory until just now.
Who did you talk to? There is a guy with a beard that is usually there. He really doesn’t know, nor care about Windstones that much (but thinks he does). Then there is a woman with brown hair who actually does the ordering from the factory and she is very knowledgable and gives great customer service. I would only do business with her, if I knew when she worked.
She’s the one I talked to, and she was very nice. (I have spoken to the guy before, he obviously didn’t care one bit.)
Anyhow, she was nice, and she knew a fair number of things, but she INSISTED that the sitting spectrals had been retired for ages, and she also INSISTED that Windstone hadn’t chosen the next new color yet, that they had no idea what it was going to be. And I’m all… “Er, no it’s this emerald-peacock thing, they’re just deciding on a name, you see,” and she kept telling me that no, they hadn’t decided on the new color at all.
It wasn’t really that bad, or anything, it was just kind of annoying to be told I didn’t know what I was talking about, when I’m pretty sure I do.
Sorry to hear that. It seems shop owners sure get stubborn about those things. They just need to realize they are not the only ones getting “inside information” so to speak. 😕
skigod377 wrote:Wow! Good sell. $304! Congrats.
Indeed. I was impressed.
Hey guys! Pics of the new hybrids are now posted under Melody’s Gallery. Take a look! They are preettyyy……
