My first Windstone (which was in fact a dragon) was a white male dragon I sniped off of ebay back in the first days of Ebay. His name is Draconis. I had a max of 5 Windstones by the time I graduated (a baby white unicorn, a baby kirin, a male kirin I snagged for $20 on a mismarked Ebay auction, and I think I may have acquired a hatchling during that time). My collection has grown quite a bit since college.
With the Father Foos becoming available today and with some time to get foos painted, I think there is a good chance that another pyo sculpt or two shows up during that time (totally a guess, but if the pads are being cut for one, it’s looking more positive that they will appear).
I can’t comment on either location (I haven’t been to either state yet), but I will be in San Francisco in May for business for a couple of weeks. If you are still out there, it would be fun to meet up. 🙂
Haha! Nice! I can’t believe that you hauled that sucker down those stairs! Not surprised though! 🙂
LOL! I do not think THAT particular bunny will share those Cadbury chocolate eggs! 😉 (Neither would I  )
*bwahahaha* 😀 They are good! 😉

I agree. The head makes it look suspicious (hard to tell at the angle for sure), but suspect it’s a cottonmouth.
That’s a nice deal, but only if the Apoxie Sculpt is still good and fresh. If it sits around too long, it goes bad and becomes unusable. I’ve had it go bad on me from sitting too long and not being used. That would be the one thing to be concerned about – How long has it been sitting on the shelf? If it’s fresh, that’s a great deal! Just wanted to throw that out there for anyone who is not familiar with that aspect of Apoxie Sculpt. I know of one place that used to sell it near me (a taxidermist), but no longer stocks it because he kept losing stock if it sat too long. I’ve had the stuff go bad on me as well from not using it frequently enough.
Have a great trip! I hope your dad is also able to find some enjoyment from the trip as well. 🙂
Welcome back!
March 18, 2014 at 9:49 pm in reply to: Grab Bag Mini Keeper Livestream Part 2! – 4pm (pacific) #909965I also appreciate the livestreams but would it be possible to do one in about half the time with maybe a few dragons out at a time that you can go from one to the next quickly? I have to watch back the recorded video and take my computer to a place with wifi because it’s too slow at home and I can’t sit there for almost 4 hours trying to see all of them. I usually just start the video, view a dragon for like 10 seconds and then skip it ahead a minute or two to see the next one so I can get through the video in about half the time. The only problem though is that the video doesn’t load fast so by the time I wait for it to skip ahead a minute or so, it takes about that long to load anyway. I have only been able to see the dragons in the first half of the first video so far as I haven’t had time to try and see the rest. One format I liked that Melody did before was put them on on a wheel and then slowly turn it so you can see all the grab bags in just a few minutes.
There will also be a ‘class’ photo more than likely, so anything missed on a livestream, if someone doesn’t post screenshots from the livestreams, will also be available in the class photo. 🙂
The bobcat sculpt was part of the old animal line (back before the days of Windstone dragons) and retired long ago. There was a small batch sold a few years ago when the factory moved, but those pieces were old, unpainted castings that had been packed away for years and found in the process of moving. So Melody painted those old castings and they sold on ebay.
I like trover and filch, followed by hoarder, but I somehow feel hoarder would suit a larger dragon than such a small one. His hoard would only be a mini-hoard. The 1% of a hoard. Just one calorie. Not hoard-ish enough! *sorry, I couldn’t resist… ^_^*
Congrats Ski! Whoo hoo! 😀
You would have to have someone either call you (ie. wake you up) or someone purchase one on your behalf and pay for it and have it shipped to you, with you reimbursing either prior to or after the fact.
Hey there stranger! Welcome back! How have you, Necron99 and the little one (not so little now I’m sure!) been?
