Following up on my earlier comment (have to think about something while doing the dishes), is this part of the store items that are not currently in production but have not been retired? Are you trying to determine if there is interest in having more made?
IF you could have the button read “I would like to have this restocked” instead of “Notify when back in stock”, and IF the title was changed to indicate these are items that might be restocked, I think it could actually be useful.
Equally good idea!

Perhaps you should call it “Things We May Restock in the Future”, assuming that is what it is. “”Stuff We Don’t Have” is very off-putting and unprofessional. It is already obvious that you don’t have the item because it is out of stock. If I was new to Windstone and just came across the website, my reaction would probably be “WTF – Why bother with them?”
Good idea!

The wishlist thread was done away with when the associated forum was closed.
I could probably resurrect it and move it to somewhere else, but it was pretty old.
Maybe it would make more sense to start a new one?
What do you guys think?
I think if we DO reinstate it – it should we a genuine “wish list” of the “if I were ever rich, I would get…” kind.
You can create a wanted ad for things you are actively seeking and ready to buy. 🙂
A mix of both uses works fine. wishlists didn’t seem to need to be overly specific. I have had people message me letting me know they would be selling something on my wishlist, but I never felt like having something on my list meant I was obligated to offer on an item. I had sometimes used those wishlists to generate good karma by letting people who had a certain item on their list know if I saw it for sale cheap like on craigslist or an ebay BIN since I am at my computer crazy amounts of time during the school season.
I like the “wanted” ads. I think that they serve the same purpose as the old wish list but better. There’s only one place to look. I’ve used the classifieds to get a few pieces that weren’t actively for sale but good, kind forum members have contacted me and it’s all worked out just fine.
Keeping the list in one organized place is far easier than scrolling down through a thread. Selling or scouting for pieces I know others are looking for has been so much easier since the classifieds went up.If the piece is a dream piece, then whoever is looking could say this in the ad. I’ve been monumentally surprised at what’s come my way in the last year. So, if you list it, you may just get it. The easier it is for someone to find what you are looking for means that you are more likely to get it. For me the classifieds accomplish this.

NO! It’s not wrong! You have a right to cry. I shed many tears over my Lap and Grand Unicorn. However, the magicians fixed them and even though I know they were broken, I can’t tell where.
Even though they have less monetary value, it doesn’t change the eye candy value. THAT is why I collect anyway.
It WILL be OK.

I had an anful experience with a lap and drag0nfeathers worked magic. Kyrin repaired my Grand unicorn and he now looks like new and can stand after having both legs smashed because the seller decided to protect ths horn and figured double-boxing was “overkill”.
I’ve PMd you, too. BUT take pictures, contact ebay and paypal, get a dispute started. DON’T send him to be fixed until you get the resolution from paypal.
BUT ABOVE ALL, DON’T GIVE UP.
There are magicians on this forum.
What can’t be fixed, unfortunately, are the non-thinking people in the world who have marvellous objects in thier trust and can’t take proper care of them.
Have a good cry, then get mad and get justice.
I totally feel your pain.
PS – DON’T GIVE UP.

Thank you for sharing your sketches! They are all awesome.

We are working on:
restocking Curlies in several sold-out colors: Glacier, Pink and lavender
Little flap cats : Black flame ones have been painted, now I need to decide how to paint the others…
Coiled dragons are being painted.
A bunch of griffin chicks in Siamese and white , and Silver Wolf were just finished…It will be so nice to see some of those curlies back in the store. I saw a comment from Susie about Lavender coiled. Those WILL be something to see!

If you can’t think of how you’d like to paint them, I’d like to put in a big squeak for BUCKSKIN! A couple years ago you had mentioned that you were thinking about doing a limited production run of Buckskin pegasus and I’ve been dreaming of the day that they are made. <3 BUCKSKIN!! BUCKSKIN!! 🙂
I am experimenting painting some in Przewaski’s color. This is sorta similar to buckskin, but the underparts and base of the mane and tail are creamy. They have white eye rings, black ear edges, primitive markings on the legs, and an interesting white, grey and black muzzle. Sort of like a Fjord horse, but not quite.
I guess that pretty + complex = problems in the paint shop?

Hmmm… All those Mother Pegasi in the photo with the flat fuzzies – what colour will they be? and, I think I saw some babies too?
I am trying to work out a new color for the Pegasi. I have tried palomino, now I am trying some in Przewalski’s color. Both are pretty, and both have problems.
Thank you, Melody! They are both really pretty. I’m certainly no artist, but I can imagine some problems. I know everyone says it, but really, the inspiration from all sorts of real animals turned into fantasy creatures is pretty mind-boggling. I get dizzy (in a good way) looking at some of the creations. I’ll look forward to the Pegasus moms!

I want to know if anything is happening with the silver vs slate poll that was done. It was said that they were going to paint more baby unicorns in one or the other and I would like to know if that is still in the plans or if that has been sidetracked for awhile….
Me, too! I’d love to get one of these little pretties into the herd.

BVP: Curlie, mother coiled, Spectral, more coiled.
Silver: Mother colied
Gold: (if not retired) Coiled, mother colied
Peacock: Curled
White: OW, Spectral, RS
Glacier: Fledgling
Hmmm our lists are pretty close! These woulde be AWESOME.
Life is beautiful.
Hopefully more BVP coiled as I missed out on them.
And if they are bored fill in the missing curls; BVP, Peacock, (dreaming here) Red Fire, (another dream) Ruby.
A bunch of the coiled are missing, and mother coiled too.Oh, yes, I agree! Peacock and BVP Curled! Yay! Sure, dream a little. 😉 Whenever the plating issue is resolved, I’d love more coiled moms – I’m missing a bunch of colours.

Could be a shelf of ebay ones… though I would like to see something new in the store with the pegs, I love the sculpts, but not a fan of the black and gold color..
I’m not into the black ones too much etiher. Ebay – or, dare I say it – grab bag would be awesome!
They’re probably too large to GB. She keeps GB’s to small things so its actually workable for people to trade. Though I am sort of surprised I haven’t seen GB baby peg’s. As much as I’d love to see another GB set come around, I think it’s good for Melody to take a lil break from them, so she doesn’t get to a point where she absolutely hates them, lol!
I do know they are too large to be GB – I was dreaming out loud. Kinda like those who dream about SKs 🙂
I think that in one of Melody’s threads she did mention about one of the new small dragons that’s in the works possibly being a GB.
I’m sure they will be great whatever colour they’re decided to be in.
