May I ask what paints and specific colors you used? He looks so smooth and beautifully blended. And are the eyes Windstone, or from elsewhere? It all comes together so well. Looks like a production piece. 🙂
Here’s my current in progress! He started out as something completely different, but I realized that the pattern I was doing was looking too ‘busy’ for my eye and decided to change my idea completely! So now this guy is all decked out in dark teals/greens/blues/yellows! He’s still got a long way to go but his front half is nearly done.
I’ve also dubbed him ‘Doukustu’ which is Japanese for ‘cavern’, as I imagine this guy would feel quite content in some deep dark quiet cave. it’s also useful for me to memorize some new Japanese vocab!

She arrived in the mail yesterday…and I’m tellin’ ya…I was like a kid at Christmas opening up the box.
She is absolutely exquisite. The purple colors, the bright silver accents, her silver horns…I just can’t gush enough, really.
I feel utterly humbled to receive what I feel is a wonderful gift. And that’s what these raffles are. 🙂 Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Melody.
I think this dragon likes her new home. She looks like she’s about to leap into flight from the hutch where she’s currently perched. 🙂
